DEAR AK ASH...MAY BE YOU HAVE WRONGLY UNDERSTOOD THE TERM ETHNIC CLEANSING...
IT IS SOMETHING WHERE ONE COMMUNITY IS ENTIRELY AGAINST THE OTHER COMMUNITY AND TRIES TO ELIMINATE THEM...WHERE AS IN KASMERE HINDUS AND MUSLIMS LOVE EACH OTHER...IT ONLY A BUNCH OF MISCHIEF MONGERS AND MISGUIDED PEOPLE WHOM WE POPULARLY KNOW AS TERRORISTS...ARE TARGETING A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY...AND WE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT IN MOST OF THEIR ATTACKS THE NUMBER OF MUSLIM DEATHS IS MUCH HIGH..SPECIALLY POLICEMEN AS THE 90% OF POLICE FORCE IS MUSLIM.....SO THERE IS NOTHING LIKE ETHNIC CLEANSING IN KASMERE..IN FACT ANYTHING LIKE THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN INDIA..

Almost all Hindus have been evicted from Kashmir in these years by Pakistani militants targeting them. Most of them have left their home and property and have migrated like refugees to other parts of India. The government of India is least bothered about these people. So BJP wants to give them back what they have lost. For this article 356 of the constitution has to be amended . This article was inserted under the guidance of Nehru so congress would not agree to amend it.

History, facts and reports do not support this to be true. If BJP is claiming this it is mischievious opportunism to cover up for the ethnic cleansing they perpetratrated in Gujarat circa 2002 under the stewardship of N.Modi.

i don't think the statement is really true. coz not only hindus r being eliminated from kashmir (muslims r also affected). i don't think that the kashmir issue is not abt religion, but it's abt idealistic conflicts between two neighbouring countries. the political parties, some religious organizations etc in India try to make the problem in RELIGIOUS basis. The people who r being eliminated by terrorism are common people including both hindu's, muslims & christians. so what we hav to do is 'not to listen these type of religious statements issued by political parties. just believe that kashmir is ours & we are one India.

Probably it is true. Kashmir is the only state where Hindus have been the minority and are being constantly trageted by Islamic militants. because the hIndus have not taken to arms they are getting kiled freely. Is there any headcount available of no. of Hindus who were killed in these long years of millitancy.

This was exactly what is done to muslims in Kashmir by indian military, and this claim is juts to cover thier own crimes.
