I'm sure you all see what i'm getting at. I argue with xians a lot about the existence of god, and one of many arguments I hear is "Well, god helped me in times of trouble!" or "I know this guy whose brother was healed of cancer overnight!" So if that counts as proof, do the countless hindus who are healed by ayurvedic healing or Krishna, etc... count as proof of their gods?

I know there are other reasons that xians feel prove their god exists: love, creation, all that. I'm specifically talking about healing/prayers answered.

The answer you'd get, and what I believe as well, is that it is the work of Satan to distract from God. Satan is the Prince of Lies, and sometimes comes in the form of an Angel. He would heal if it would takes souls away from God.

It is not uncommon for healing to take place by divine intervention, Krishna means "all attractive", which is a personal form of addressing the Supreme, so ultimately regardless of which name is used to address the Supreme Godhead, the essence or purity of that interaction is the important component.

There is no question of "my God" or "your God", there is "one God" and it is that same "one God" that interacts with each individual, directly or through his bonafide representative, the spiritual master/son/prophet, who are authorised by God to act on his behalf.

Of course not. No more than the lack of healing would prove that Krishna does not exist.

If you pray for a stone or a tree or even this Krishna to heal you, you will be healed not because of the stone, the tree or Krishna has the power of healing, but because your creator God (Allah) won't leave you die to your silly mind requesting the wrong God!

Your creator is the one who wants to heal you, because He is the one who created you, so he is the one who cares for you, not the one you chose.

Krishna it's not another god it's just a face of God.. God it's so powerful he can take any form.. God it's represented through Krishna.. in the Hinduism God it's the Source and the INFINITE it doesnt have any form in special, the revelation it's through the faces of Krishna, Vishnu, or Kali ec.t.

God has many names to describe him, Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Ganesha, Lord Shiva, nouns, Truth, Love, Divine Reason, Understanding, Intelligence, many adjectives, loving, caring, forgiving, etc.

They call it God, you call it Krishna, it's following your heart and using your head that is most important, and as for beliefs, as long as they are founded on care and kindness they can't be too far off.

Maybe what all of these cases actually prove is the strength of a person's belief.

What proves my God exist is the fact that we have love one toward another.By this men will know that you are my disciples.

As far as I'm concerned, it would prove coincidence and that's it.
