YES, YES a thousand times YES. Especially the same ridiculous questions over and over and over again. We need to all ask the white people just why they are so desparate and anxious to call us the N word and be able to get away with it. In the last 2 days I've seen this same stupid question (why black people call each other that name but they can't) soooooooo many times. Or maybe we should ask them just why they think they need to control the WHOLE world. I can think of alot more but just thinking about it is making my pressure rise. Thank you Ghost for your answer, it hit the nail on the head.

Yes. Yes I do. But it's fun. The way I see it, well, its better to ask, and answer, on the off chance that someone might actually listen and come to understand, if not agree.

Now, I dont think anyone needs to take the burden of speaking for your race. But we are all the victims of the GROUP.

What do I mean by that?

Well, human beings, as a group, commit actions. The larger the group, the more profound the actions. In this sense, the movement and action of the individual doesnt really matter. Not in a moral or ethical sense, but in the sense that masses of people move in a cultural and social and historical direction and 1 person cannot stop it or turn it.

So, instead of asking yourself "arent you sick of this or that" it would be more productive to ask yourself "How does this action make SENSE to this group." At least then you would understand.

Ive often said, if blacks or asians or whoever were the majority in this country, social movement would be different BUT then other minority races would then be suffering the indignities that you do.

It's a fault of the entire species for the larger group to portect itself from the minority. Sad but true. But education and experience can make a difference.

Good luck black people! I love you all!

By the way, I have no desire to call black people "******!" And I dont care if you guys use it among yourselves and "we" cant. Thats totally fine.

I do wish people in general would stop talkign loud at movies. And it isnt just blacks and it isnt a black thing. And its getting worse. Its the idea that "Im going out in public and now everyone has got to cater to ME!" which is not nice.

it is unbelievable.

this is my opinion and i will not try to sound politically correct.

why separation... the blacks and the whites, the latinos, etc!

i am from a monocultural country and people are not as racist as in america, where despite living together minorities and majorities still act like 2 centuries ago! there is racism because people still want to create divisions in the society and insist in stereotypes.

with this i am not saying that there is a responsible group, the entire society is guilty. i now live in a multicultural country (not US) and there is a lot more respect and understanding. i am part of a minority inside the minorities and i never felt discriminated against nor a target of stupid questions.

to stupid questions try to answer with wise answers.

try to develop as a nation together, maybe you will change the negative image that other people have about you (the country)

sorry if i offended someone.

This reminds me of two different concepts in minority studies (that is, theories about people who are minorities, like black people):

1. Minority Education

This concept goes like this: for some reason, it is always the job of the minority or oppressed to educate the majority about itself. In other words, white people won't actually take learning about black culture onto their own shoulders; most will expect blacks to educate them on what being black is. And if black people don't try to educate - especially about things like racism or slavery, for example - the white people will never learn, and therefore will never know any better. So it's like being forced into a teaching job. Of course, this doesn't go for all white people or all black people, but it's a generalization that seems to really happen.

2. Representation of the Minority

I think anyone in a minority can relate to this: you're always being asked to speak on behalf of your entire culture! For example, a single black person is often asked "Why do black people ____" as though he or she magically knows the thoughts and behaviours of a billion people. You rarely hear someone approach a white person and say, "Hey...I've always been curious. Why do white people like sex and money so much?" or something equally silly. The big downside to this is that if you do something wrong, people expect represents your culture. So if a black guy robs a bank, people expect that all black guys are thieves...oh, you know what I mean.

Anyway, these things are super frustrating. The next time someone asks you a ridiculous question, make them read this:

http://seamonkey.ed.asu.edu/~mcisaac/emc598ge/Unpacking.html

and answer the "privilege checklist" questions!

Best of luck & happy surviving!

They don't wanna be around us but they're overly concerned about what we do. I don't entertain stupid people. I have better things to do.

I mean, you can do a search right here on YahooAnswers! and get a whole slew of "Why do Black people do ____?" Usually asked by the ignorant & clueless.

We still have a looooooong way to go.

*le sigh*

It don't bother me. I laugh because its so silly. I laugh at most of the question in the section not just about black people but most of the questions. I'm just thankful and glad that I don't have hate in my heart to come up with the question that are on here.

It used to bother me but not anymore. My grandmother taught me a long time ago, don't entertain ignorance. Why waste my time getting upset or bothered by someone's ignorance? If I did, I would always be bothered. Do you know how many ignorant people there are in this world? I have too much good going on in my life to let myself be bother by people who mean absolutely nothing to me.

I think all of the racist questions, statements need to be stopped. It is just people showing their level of intelligence, zero. Ignorance is bliss, If you knew better you would do better. listen it is better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt. God Bless
