Sorry if this sounds ignorant but in the UK I don't know anybody that goes to church and very few who would say they were religious. Even the ones who are married don't really believe in the religious part of the ceremony. A lot of the Americans on here seem to say to trust in God or God will save you, is the UK just not so religious?

Actually, totally fascist. Of you don't believe in what I do, burn in hell!

And what about isolated tribes who never had the chance to hear the word of God. They've got no chance to convert, so are they born damned? Or do they get reincarnated so they can have another chance?

Let's face it, an intelligent mind can never follow the ridiculous doctrines of Christianity and Islam.

It was further stated that : 'Mr Straw insisted that he respected those who wear the veil and would never demand it was removed, but added that in conversation it was important to "not only hear what people say but see what they mean".
But "people should think about" not wearing it, he told the Today programme.'

Why do ppl hate Iranians so much?
Why do they see us as terrorists and fanatics?
Iran has culture, history leadership and rights. we r human beings after all - Why does everyone take what Mr. Ahmedinejad say so extremely - PLZ RESPECT THE IRANIAN PPL. I havent been in Iran for 10 yrs and I miss Iran very much. I hope there never would be a war, and current rows with US go down.
To all Iranians in Iran, SALAM BE HAME!

I've heard and seen in newspapers, news sites, etc. that the religious right is pretty close to taking over and possibly deleting some of our freedoms. I am agnostic and some-what liberal and would be EXTREMELY upset if the religious started taking over. For example, in Georgia there is a mother who is basically sueing to get Harry Potter out of public libraries and the legislating parties are actually entertaining this crazy idea! What are we coming to? I know the times go in cycles. Ex: The turn of the 20th century was conservative, the twenties were not - the 40's and 50's were conservative, the 60's and 70's were not. Are we beginning another conservative movement? Whatever happened to freedom of religion as well as freedom from religion? I appreciate all of your thoughts.

Is the Pre- Trib rapture the doctrine of devils? After my bible studies I find it hard to believe. Revelation chapter 13:7 states " it was granted to him to make war with the saints and overcome them. " Well if the saints are gone how is the anti-christ going to make war with them? Also what makes us more special than Jesus or the prophets who were slain? I think Jesus answers this question in Matthew 24:29-31 " Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it's light. the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the son of man will appear in heaven, and they will see him coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." So how is it then people believe they are not going to be here when Jesus says they will?

After all, people have claimed to see these creatures, just like people have claimed to see Jesus turn water into wine. I would think that any fantastic event would be believe by Christians as long as someone claims to have witnessed it.

My missus reckon's it's 20 British pence sterling (about 40 US Cents) but I'm not so sure. That may have been the case 10 years ago but inflation has devalued it so I think now it's probably gone up to 50p (about $1) - What do you think?

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

if we know that Jesus was talking to father in this verse
So it's very clear that eternal life is only for those who belive that father is the only God .. and Jesus is a messenger of God.
