You are not following the right logic - God loves us UNCONDITIONALLY. He loves us even when we sin. No matter how much we do that.
Yet, there is hell for sinners, not because He doesn't love us, but because it is JUSTICE.

No,it's not logical, and I don't believe it's true either. God's love IS unconditional...Period. While those of us that sin and don't seek His forgiveness, will not get to Heaven(notice I didn't say will go to Hell),it doesn't mean that He doesn't love us.Consider not going to Heaven a punishment instead. (If you punish your boy for something he does wrong, don't you still love him?) I'm a firm believer in Purgatory.I think that Hell is here on Earth and if we don't follow God's wishes we end up in Purgatory.(it's like wanting to play in the National Championship game, but instead you get an early December bowl bid. You still get something good but not as great as playing for a National Championship and not as bad as sitting at home watching all the games on TV.(get it?)
Peace....

God loves you no matter what.
But to be more especific:if you sin,He loves you more, that's exactly why He sends Hi's only begotten Son:Jesus.Because He do not came to condemn you,but to safe you.
Healtie people don't need a doctor.
But if you choose to sin, you'll gonna get punish. That gonna be your choice:to be apart from Him.Because He's gonna make a judgement day,and if He has to be rightious, then He have to be like any other judge in eart.If you made a mistake you have to go to the court and pay for whatever you did wrong.
That dosn't mean the judge hate you,but still you have to be punish.(you choose that so don't espect everybody be OK with that just because they love you).Even I have a friend of mine than love's his son a lot,but one day he made a mistake and go to jail, his father can paid the bond and get him out,but he said:no,I let him paid for what he did and maybe in that way next time he gonna think twice before he do it again. He has to learn the lesson than what he just did was so wrong and unaceptable.
It hurts me,He told me,He's my son,but I do not tolarate this behavior, even if I love him this much!.
God loves every body but He want us to come close to Him,be good persons, but some times we prefer to turn our back on Him and get away.Maybe we make Him cry, maybe we hurt Him,because He love us to much, but we can not do bad tings and expect a reward or do not be punish for that,We have to face the consecuense of our acts with out bleame on God because He don't agree with it.
GOD BLESS YOU!
P.S.
I'm pretty sure He loves you.

God doesn't love the sinner any less than the saint. Jesus died for all, the sun shines on all, the rain provides food for all, the air is free for all to breathe. Gods love for us is the ultimate. nothing can separate us from that love.
God hates sin, true. But tell me this, if u have a child that does something wrong. Wouldn't u punish him with one hand and draw him close with the other? If a human does that, what do u think God would do, lover and giver of all.

God gives His children example after example to show us the way it is with Him. Family is one of the examples He uses. When we look at the family we have a father, mother and children. Parents of the children love their children without regard for their behavior. If their child does wrong the parents don't stop loving them. They correct the child and hope that the situation becomes a learning experience for the child towards the good.
God is the same with us. God gives what you call unconditional love to His children. I call it unmerited favor or grace. We cannot do anything to gain this gift that God give us through His Son Jesus Christ His Saviour.
There is no way for God to take this gift away from us in this world age where we live under this grace. But I tell you this, that this time will pass away at the arrival of Jesus at His second coming and forgiveness of sins will be a thing of the past.
Currently, when we sin we separate ourselves from God. He does not separate Himself from us. We through repentance can regain the state we were in prior to the sin.
I recommend that you spend more time in the Word of God for inspiration and less time with worldly matters for awhile. Just to get your feet wet and able to go through life better having the certainty you get from God.><>

The scriptural record is clear on one thing. You don't have to sin at all to have God destroy you. If you believe the story of the great flood, you have to think there were at least a couple of newborns who hadn't got around to too much sinning before they were drowned. And those "first born" Egyptians: What exactly was their "sin.?"

No one ever said it was unconditional.
But you have it wrong. Just because you sin does not mean that God doesn't love you.
The way of the Lord is this: He loves us and only wants the best for us- He has given us instructions & commandments to follow- it is when we don't follow them that we get into trouble.
Example: you have an affair with your friend's wife- he finds out- their marriage is over- your wife finds out- your marriage is over- now 2 families are destroyed because you would not control yourself- you are not in charge of others- only yourself-
God tells us don't committ adultery- for a host of reasons.
He knows we are weak and constantly mess up- He never expected us to be perfect ( whew ) but we have to try to live our lives as moral and decent people.
"While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us."
While I was still sinning and acting stupid, Jesus loved me enough to go to the Cross for me, to save me from eternal damantion, which is to be separate from God.
Know God- know Love.....

I love you... BUT, if you don't love me and believe what I want you to believe, then you will roast in hell for eternity. Looks like conditions to me. Actually, reminds me of the God Father, the movie.... Extortion. I have an offer you can't refuse... if you do refuse it, I'm going to kill everyone you love and you will be up a s.hit creek without a paddle... and you just might wake up with your pet's head in your bed as well.

I love my kids unconditionally, but if they broke a law I would turn them in. It would break my heart to do so and my love for them wouldn't change, but my commitment to justice as well as love would not let them go unpunished for their crime.
Contrary to popular belief, God's laws are not some arbitrary set of rules that he sat down and made up. The laws of God are an irreversible part of His character. If he were to violate them or turn a blind eye to someone else violating them then He ceases to be God. So sin has to be punished, hence the importance of Christ and His substitutionary death.

God loves you unconditionally and that is the truth. He does not love the sin you commit. His love is unconditional because He is willing to forgive you of your sin. We are all made in His image which means we all have the ability to be righteous.

Yes God's love is Unconditional........even if we do sin...even a "horrible" sin, he will still love us no matter what. Once we are saved ( by beliving that we are a sinner and Jesus dies in our place because He loves us) then we can never lose our Salvation.......We do get out of fellowship with Him...but never out of His family. When we do get out of fellowship(when we sin) Confess you sins and you will be back in fellowship with. 1 John 1:9
