why do they worship him instead of god, as they say god sacrificed his son for their sins so if someone slaughtered a cow for you ,you would thank the cow instead of ur friend ?

God and Jesus are the same-Jesus was God's physical presence when he walked the earth. He is the son of God. Jesus is the only way to God. Without being cleansed of sin you cannot enter the presence of God. Jesus said not to ask him for anything but to use his name and pray directly to God and God would hear us. He wasn't killed against his will as a cow would have been, he went willingly. It is more like a friend giving his own life to save yours than a friend sacrificing a cow for you. He took our punishment and Christians willingly accept that and commit ourselves to him because he purchased our lives with his own. Everyone has the choice to willingly be His or not in this life. If you are not his you also haven't accepted his paying for your sins and will have to answer to God for them. This doesn't mean you say, "Ok Jesus. I'm saved." and then go do whatever you want. It is a true committment that you will do your best to live as he did and God does help you do it.

O.K.
well first JESUS is not a cow?..o.k. so bad example.
Second if you go to the bible it later talks of How GOD gave everything to christ, to create the world. Colossians 1.16
Tells in greater detail....yes God created the world...But GOD gave all that in which to do so to Jesus, His son...and Christ did the work...See the God head is this:
The Father...The son(Jesus)...and The Holy Spirt.
Three s e p e r a t e people. YET...one?...It is VERY HARD to understand....but is very true.And....the word 'son' is not the same as we know it....It means in the Bible equal...So like 2xpartners in something. JESUS the Bible tells us, was NEVER created! He always was there, along with God,and the Holy Spirit...If you read the Bible in Col 1.16.........The Bible is by no means easy, but a good study one...will explain most things.

Because the way to GOD's kingdom is through JESUS! Read the word you see that no one can look at GOD and not die (few exceptions unless GOD wants it this way) his presense is so GREAT that you would instantly die if you see him this is why the only way to GOD is through his son JESUS. Sorry but slaughtering a cow is not the same.

In most Christian religions, Jesus is part of a trinity (God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) that make up one God.

WOW! Do you have any knowledge of Christianity? Jesus is God. God is 3 Divine Persons - Father (our Creator), Son (our Redeemer, God in human flesh named Jesus [Emmanuel], and Holy Spirit (our Advocate). Therefore, the Father is God; the Son is God; the Holy Spirit is God.
JESUS IS GOD in human flesh so He could suffer and die for us.
Read the bible once in a while to understand the holy Trinity. It's all in there.

We dont' worship him instead of God, we worship him as the Son of God, the second part of the Trinity, as part of God. He selflessly gave of Himself for us.
