That's bullshit because I can name many white people who have reputations for being violent. For instance, the mafia, anyone? Nazis, Charles Manson and his followers...and even slave owners who beat their slaves! I even heard the first gangs in the US were formed by the Irish. The list goes on and on and yet people have the nerve to claim that black people are naturally more violent. I think the reason there is alot of violence in the black community is because of the environment they live in not because they happened to be born with black skin. Why do people make these outrageous claims? So stupid! Also, it pisses me off that more white people don't acknowledge Martin Luther King Jr. as being a a hero for white people as well as black people. He stood for equality of the human race people, wake up!

As a christian I have been caught up in self hate over the years because of the verbal abuse that was given to me.

The Bible says that we are Gods temple and we should respect it.

For the longest time I have had tendencys of putting myself and downplaying myself. I am JUST starting after 21 years of being a christian that I am speical and I am beautiful in Gods eyes and I am strong.

Many times I would not by myself things because I did not feel I was worth it or special and I am starting to change that thinking.

Dont get me wrong we should not be conceited and all that either,

What are godly healthy ways to be good to yourself and to continue to respect yourself. Godly answers only.

I know Psalm 139 and Jeremiah 29:11 what are other verses that are in the Bible that deal with how speical we are to God and others?

This guy at work has scars on his wrists. He seems the depressive type, really miserable and won't talk to anyone. You can't get a conversation out of him, it's almost laughable, he just looks scared all of the time. He is always diverting his hands if he notices anyone looking at his wrists. Everyone at work is always talking about him, curious about why he cut himself.

I'm in a bit of a mood today in case you can't tell, got my little nose in a book reading, I read all sorts of things.

Trying to make it through some tough times in the world of emotions.

There are some people I like who I want to be close with. I tell them the truth I don't hide anything from anyone sometimes the truth is I can't share with you the truth but its not a lie to say I can't tell you anything.

So ghandi he wanted equal treatment for people was willing to march and stand up to soliders unarmed.

Jesus was unarmed wasn't he? I know the quote he came to bring not peace but a sword but what that meant was his word was the sword.

Funny if you read in 1 Samuel about King David he had a sword but it was symbolic of faith.

Faith and the word, a sword not peace, o well. I still love them the Christians despite their history and dogma.
