They're shown by Yahoo! as having 154 points, but according to their Stats they have never answered a question. Where did they get those 154 points? Plus, they've asked 34 questions, but it looks like they get to do it free, without its costing them any points. How do they do it? How is that possible?

I remember this question on a test in high school and nobody got the answer. Our teacher told us it was in Edith Hamilton's Mythology but we never did find it. All these years later, this question still pops into my head once in a while.
Does anyone know?

why is it that more people look at thing negativitely rather than positivitely? For example, my spelling of negative which i am unsure if i spelled correctly or not. I bet at least three people will call me something rude for my incorrect spelling. Why is it easier for people to call someone ugly rather than pretty?

You have Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Orthodox (russian for me), Pesbetarians, Piscopalians, Escipol, Protestant, etc. They all belive in Jesus Christ, and follow what the Bible has to say. WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE CHRISTIAN?! Don't tell me, "Oh, read the Bible. You don't know what you are talking about. Find God." Or any of that crap. I am Russian Orthodox, and fine with it. I am not super religious. But why are there so many dieties, or w/e it is?

I am relativily new to this site and I have noticed a large number of athiests who answer questions regarding religion. They ask questions of Christians, and some (not all) are extemely hateful and aggressive toward people that don't share their view. Why do athiests, who should believe that their time to live is limited and every moment here is precisous, waste that time talking to Christians? Why religion? Why not science or some other topic that would be benificial to you? Why waste your valuable time asking, answering, or just plain bashing a faith that you have percieved as false? I am not trying to be offensive, but I am very curious because it does not make sense to me. Is it benifitial to you to destroy the beliefs of those who do not believe as you do? Christians are called to tell share their faith with non-beilievers? What is the mission or intent of an athiest regarding this portion of the site?

For me it's Faith, discerning os Spirits, and healing at times.

you can have all of them, if you work at it.
1 Corinthians 12:8 Spirituai gifts... Word of wisdom; word of knowledge; faith; gifts of healing; working of miracles; prophecy; discerning of Spirits, diver kinds of tongues; interpretation of tongues;
But all of these worked that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
You may have some of these gifts and not know it, what do you think. ???

According to the Christian bible I will burn in hell for an eternity for my "sinful" actions throughout my life. The fact that the Bible is a fairytale, Jesus was really a black homosexual who now lives very close to Muscle Beach, CA (he's addicted to Viagra and whiskey too, I heard) and that "Satan" was created by men so that they could have a polar opposite to "God" leaves me wondering why I should care about these fables. The Church consists of old men who can't keep their hands of children (very well documented I might add) and there is no scientific proof that hell exsists (or any of this other bs).

My question, why do you bother following and practising a lie? - When the fact remains that the whole thing was made up. It's hilarious to witness how blind you people are to utter fables. This whole "God will make you pay!" is what is used to control you nimrods, but you are so blind to reason and facts that you believe it. SET YOUR MINDS FREE OF THE CAGE CHRISTIANITY HAS YOU IN!

Charles Singleton was deemed legally insane after his incarceration which made it difficult to legally execute him. Finally, after spending a lot in tax dollars in keeping him treated and imprisoned he was executed by lethal injection. Something seems wrong with this.
