My favorite line by Jack Nicholson in the twisted movie "Mars Attacks". The Martians have stormed into Congress and Nicholson, as President of the US, asks the Martians, "Why can't we all just get along?"
In reply the Martians draw their ray guns and start blasting everybody into skeletons. Good answer to your question.

We can't get along beacuse were too quick to judge others and are not willing to sit down and talk about our differences.
