Charles Singleton was deemed legally insane after his incarceration which made it difficult to legally execute him. Finally, after spending a lot in tax dollars in keeping him treated and imprisoned he was executed by lethal injection. Something seems wrong with this.

Is this the case where the Doctor refused to administer treatment since the patient was going to be executed? The Doctor could not in good conscious heal a man that was going to be put to death.

The whole system is insane, not just the prisoner. The prisoner already committed a serious and heinous act and now our government exacerbates the fact by it's role in planning the execution. Which by the way goes by another name and that is PREMEDITATED MURDER.

And something IS wrong with this. People who are sick need to be treated and the government needs to stop executions altogether. Peace.

If a person is legally insane while committing crimes,no matter
how evil,he shouldn't be executed at all. He surely shouldn't be
brought back to a state of relative mental health and then put to
death. Life imprisonment would be the best solution there.

Why spend money for treatment when your going to kill them anyways... wasn't he on death row for murder...evidently he was sane enough to be deemed guilty of the crime(s).
