I mean, look at the way things are. People get married on reality tv shows to people they barely know because other people they don't know voted on it. Divorce is at an all time high, do I have to remind you guys of Slutteny Spears' wedding in Las Vegas that was annuled the next day? People are getting married for all the wrong reasons, for money, for prestiege, for just being able to say they are married.

Really, people, how could allowing gay people to get legally married really make things any worse?

It's like "It's ok to get married to somene you've never met on tv for a million dollers, it's ok to marry someone you're not in love with for money, it's ok to force someone it to marriage by getting pregnant, and it's ok to get married six or seven times and divorce them each after less than a year, but God forbid someone get married to someone they're in love with that just so happens to be of the same gender, because that will distroy the sanctity of marriage!"

I am asking this question not to mock or ridicule anyone's faith. But to understand your mind's in efforts to feel a oneness w/ my fellow humans who happen to be Christian w/o submitting to your judgemental faith or God...Do any Christians have a Plan B if the Church would burn down tomorrow (symbollically)? If they found out Jesus was just like them only he understood the purpose of this physical world....like many others who have also ascended....i.e. Earth Masters....?
This is a hypothetically created Question offered with purely good intent....I only expect serious answers. please spare the humor. Many of my friends are Christian and although they judge me I choose not to. But because they and their God judge me I find myself wanting to not be friends anymore b/c of that only reason.

So, Let's just say things fell apart (No apocoplypse, No Judgement day, No challenge of faith, just a sense of a need to Change) what would the Christians Do? Keep Believing? Try something new?

This is a question to those interested in the changing dynamics of sexual roles. Only a half-century has passed since the icons of male /Female relations have passed from "Father Knows Best', "Leave It to Beaver", "I Love Lucy" and the "Nelsons" to "Sex in the City". Paladin and Hercules has been superceded by Buffy and Xena. The next 50 years, with proliferation of technology and the new generation of empowered Females, may likely cause an even more accelerated upheaval of the past sexual hierarchy... use your imagination, intellect and intuition... what do you think is in store for the world and the sexes in it after 2056?

There's this girl here at my college...and she and I HATE each other...but her mom died recently....and to be perfectly honest, I didn't care at all.....but here's the thing...our boss at work (we work as tutors at school here) is going to be passing around a condolence card for all the co-workers to sign...

If I sign it, I feel it'd be wrong because I don't care, and plus I don't like the girl...if my mother died, I wouldn't want somebody I don't like to put their name on the card...but at the same time, I think I should just sign it.....but then it'd be more of an obligation thing...I'm only signing it because everybody else is....and that'd be wrong and disrespectful to sign it and not even mean it.....any suggestions?

This question is not what I want answered directly. This question leads to the concept of how and where we spend eternity because any finite number divided by infinity equals zero. Which means that whatever we do in our lifetime compared to infinity is nothing. Forever is a very long time. How would you live your life in this zero time if what you did determined where and how you would spend eternity?

The Bible never explains why, just says it is.

Most people argue "it's not natural" or that quaint little saying, "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve."

But... make up is not natural. Plastic surgery is not natural. The mystery meat they served at my high school was certainly not natural.

God never said any of those things were abominations. There must be a better explanation as to why homosexuality is an abomination, other than "it's not natural".
