This is a question to those interested in the changing dynamics of sexual roles. Only a half-century has passed since the icons of male /Female relations have passed from "Father Knows Best', "Leave It to Beaver", "I Love Lucy" and the "Nelsons" to "Sex in the City". Paladin and Hercules has been superceded by Buffy and Xena. The next 50 years, with proliferation of technology and the new generation of empowered Females, may likely cause an even more accelerated upheaval of the past sexual hierarchy... use your imagination, intellect and intuition... what do you think is in store for the world and the sexes in it after 2056?

women will continue to become smarter, more empowered, and will eventually overpower men (like in politics and stuff) but maybe not in 50 years. I'm not really sure. It's not that women were ever less important than men, its just that they were hidden in shadows.

nicely... a million.'There could be extra to existence for a guy than having to paintings a tedious, tiring finished time pastime' it truly is the twenty first century, women human beings paintings tedious, tiring finished time jobs besides. Thats like asserting "adult men could get old", marvel! women human beings get old besides. 2.'Having to act assertively each and every of the time could place very lots of stress on a guy.' while's the final time you have seen a woman beating a guy for no longer being 'assertive'? Wait... its adult men that do this. the type you suggested that replaced into as though women human beings compelled gender roles onto adult men, while in virtually all circumstances its the adult men that do. human beings usually talk out against classic woman roles because of the fact they're a concern for women human beings usually brought about by adult men, they sometimes dont talk out approximately classic male roles because of the fact they're a concern for adult men usually brought about by fellow adult men. i'm nit blaming all adult men for this fyi, which would be incorrect, its the jock like dumb muscle-heads that usually try this, they are of course a small yet very influental variety.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring..... I rather think it will be a more relaxed state of being. If as you say we have begun a role reversal then might it not revert back to a male dominated society.... as it should be?

I think women will choose their mates instead of the male dominance. Women will select who to have children with independantly. There will be less taboo on who the father is.

Men will stay home more and raise the kids.

Women will be leaders in business and politics. They will be most of the doctors, lawyers and even scientists.

Men will do the most of the blue collar work and stay home with the kids.
