Helloooo, there are over 20,000 (thats right) gun laws on the books. A gun is an inanimate object. It has no intrinsic evil any more than a knife or a baseball bat. People use it in evil ways its true, but the same way we have not stripped knives out of the hands of innocent chefs all over the world, because of the millions who use them to stab people, Guns should not be taken from the law abiding citizens (who own by constitutional right) because of the criminals who use them to kill and maim. The media does not EVER tell you of the thousands of crimes that have been stopped and averted because of a law abiding citizens who used their gun to protect from or prevent a crime. It happens all over the country every day. Evil people will find guns no matter how many laws are on the books, thus the reason that they are criminals, laws don't matter to them.
Just look carefully at the countries and our own states that have banned citizens owning guns. It does not work. The crime rate goes UP!!! Criminals KNOW that people are sitting ducks if they cannot have guns. Why should judges, and police and security etc. have the right to protect life and property, but not the average joe citizen like me? Gun control has and never will work, and it is unconstitutional. Its the SECOND ammendment. Its that important.

Absolutely not! The laws we currently have are far to restrictive. If it were easier to get a concealed carry permit, many more crimes could be deterred.

NO, we need more people to take responsibility for their actions instead of blaming everyone from their parents to clergymen.

Guns don't kill people....the IDIOT pulling the trigger kills people.
Why don't you advocate 'car' control, drivers of cars kill more people than guns.
Heck, Ted Kennedy has killed more people than any one of my guns, outlaw him.
