I'm so proud to be an American. We have so many rights and freedoms that are taken for granted. I'm also so proud to be married to a soldier. At a time when America is protesting the war and criticizing our soldiers, I stand firm by his side. We believe in what he's doing and I know as long as he and men like him are doing it, we'll be safe.
I'd never seen some of those images. Thanks for posting that link, Sunshine!!

WOW! I'm am sniffly and covered with goosebumps. How could anyone anywhere think that their god told them this was the right thing to do? Way back in the waybacks I dated a guy from Brooklyn. Whenever I visted him in NY, we always went up the towers. It was my favorite place in NY. I have a picture of me at the top of the towers, taken in the early 80s. I lost a friend in the Pentagon on that same day in 2001. The world will never be the same. ::hugs:: I think our hearts are in agreement here.

The slideshow is very nice. Some of the images are great, in my opinion (i'm into graphic design) and some look a little smooshed and destorted but for the quality of the slideshow its very good.
