aussiechi and Electro_F , there are nuts and saints in every spiritual practice, you miss my point, chanting and praying unceasingly are the same thing. electro_F you have been grossly misinformed about chanting.

Chanting any phrase repeatedly brings intended results.
Like "Nam-myo-ho-ran-kye-kyo" or
"Om-nama-shiva-ya"
"Glory hallelujah!"
"I will not lose my homework"

No, it's not. Chanting: is like vain reputation as the hypocrites that Jesus spoke about in
Matt 6:7 "But when you pray use not vain repetition as the heathen do: for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking". Praying unceasingly means that the problem is forefront, priority and not only praying about it in the natural but also in the spirit.

There's a hole in your britches, Mr. Whistle.
Repetitious prayer is something that God does NOT want.

Mt 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Cult deprogrammers call this interminable singing or chanting "thought-stoppers." Any person or organizational system that tells you to chant instead of think about a problem is most likely a bigger problem itself.

I just know it's freaky. They stole my aunty away to America never to see her family again, and they then tried to steal my Dad away, luckily he was too smart to be brainwashed and join a cult. Hence, my family and I cannot stand incense after those freakish experiences of trying to rescue my aunty.
