Yes! I had a neighbor who lost his wife to breast cancer. He found out he had it a year later, and 3 years after that his daughter found out she had it in both breasts. It is definitely an equal opportunity disease.

It is not just about the design of your chest it is also about the genetic make-up of your body. If you have a relative with breast or other related cancers you are not only more prone to breast cancer, but also prostate cancer, and I believe pancretic. There is a list of cancers on the same gene. You can also carry the gene, not have it express in you, but have it passed on to your children. So, if you have a family history it might be a good idea for you to have genetic testing....that way if you have children you will know if they are at risk as well.

I think a lot of people are becoming more aware of that as the awareness of wemon's breast cancer becomes known. It is regularly stated that men suffer it as well.
I think it is a good thing. I think in some way it would be so much harder for a guy. They don't tend to be thought about as having 'breasts'.

I was aware of this, but isn't 10% a little low on the scale? No matter what the percentage, breast cancer is a very traumatic disease to experience.

1. It's good to have a genetic test done, especially if it runs in your Mother and/or Father's side of the family.
2. I have personally known two males with breast CA in my lifetime so far.

Everyone has the same amount of breast tissue. The size of your breasts are determined by how much your fat cells grow!
