TRUE religion is meant to govern one's self and not others. The only time it should govern another is if that person chooses to follow the same path. And not all faiths are the same, even if it is in the same religion?

Are my kids likely to be lesbian or gay?

When I came out to my parents, they had all sorts of horrible things to say. For instance, they claimed my children were not safe with me because I'd make them all mentally sick and queer. I pointed out that they're heterosexual and I'm gay, so how could they assume my children would be gay or lesbian? They didn't have an answer, but found other awful things to say.

They did start me thinking. Do I have to worry about being a bad influence?

Whats youre stand on the treatment of foster youth in america?

Most people think that a child in an orphanage is there on his own accord, I.E. his or her behavior, or that they cant function in society. I was placed in an orphanage at the age of 8. The orphanage i was placed in was a 30 bed facility. These facilitys are called residential treatment facilitys, with padded walls, electronic locks on the doors, and on campus schools. You are not allowed to enteract socialy with any one out side the facility unless outherwise approved by the court. These facilitys follow the same guidlines and protacall as juvinile detincion centers (juvie hall) yet these kids only fell victom to there parents drug abuse, or physical abuse, neglect, or abandoment etc... These kids arent there becouse they commited any crime. These kids arent adopted out, couse people only adopt babies. These kids are treated like prisoners untell they are 18 when they are given nothing but the clothes on there backs and asked to leave.
Why is this acceptable?

The ignorance of Muslims? Honest question, not derogatory.?

Does it seem like Muslims (some, not all) are caught up in the same type of Crusades that the Christians were in hundreds of years ago. And if so, how long do you think it would be before they decide that it is a never ending battle that will ultimately dissipate to a chapter in the history books like the Crusades? Anybody who knows history knows that it repeats itself.

Let's see how many people go off course with this question and start pointing fingers at Isreal, Bush, America and the Western Infidels. Also, lets see who gets offended over the word “ignorance” in the title question.
