Presumably they don't go without food and drink for a whole month?

They use the clock,I'm a former Muslim,I've been through Ramadan,it's tough,we couldn't eat until sunset,so I suppose they'd use a clock?

They might fast according to Makkah timing. I'm not 100% sure on that though, it's just my guess. I live in England so i don't have any problem with sun not setting, i have problem with it hardly ever being out :D

they use a clock and also there is an Islamic cultural center in Norway maybe they issued a calender for the month...
