Unless you are actually in the Ballet, a suit and tie would be good.

As a word of advise, if you live near the place where the Ballet is, then nip down on your night off and see what the other guys are wearing.

A black tutu with black fish net stockings. glass ballet slippers. If it's in the evening take a black tux jacket with tails. Have fun.

ballets tend to require suits, minus the tie.

Please! No tights! Light pants, form-fitting or loose, knee-length or longer; but NO tights unless they are a special kind that actually cover up. (personal opinion, not professional)
However, I do admire ballet dancers since i could never do what they can.

are you in the ballet? im guessing not. if you are going to a baallet......wear black pants and a button up shirt. :)

Dress pants and a dress shirt. A coat and tie is not necessary but it might be nice.

nah, wear "sunday best" or equivalent. remember, you cant overdress. you can only underdress and be scoffed at...
