Honestly, Can you social dance if asked? If so, how did you learn and what dance do you like the best (leave out dancin in the sheets please). I not, why not? What's stopping you?

I asked a question about pedophilia not being mentioned as wrong in the Bible.

One answer stated "Does God have to tell someone of average intelligence that having sex with children is wrong? God gave us a brain he expects us to use it".

This means God didn't think it was common sense for me to assume murder was wrong? Or beastiality? Or stealing? He only assumed it was common sense to assume pedophilia is wrong?

Yet, that God had to teach me homophilia is wrong, menstruation is unclean and it's wrong to eat shell fish. Even to wear clothes of mixed fabric.

But he assumed pedophilia to be an abomination to be left to 'common sense'.

Seems kinda odd to me.

Pedophilia is an abomination to me. It doesn't seem to be an abomination to God. Sad.

What have you done in your life to help others, and will it be remembered?

(I often wonder, what could I do for, or offer the future generations. Isn't that what life is about? Yes, we should live our own life to the fullest, but shouldn't we also work on the future? Isn't helping people NOW a good start?

Otherwise, what was our purpose here? We gain experience, and wisdom, but do not pas it on somehow? What a serious loss.)

For instance The Crowning with Thorns--when Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac God stopped him and told him to look over in the bramble bushes and there was a ram trapped up with the sticker bramble bushes around his head caught by his horns. I had never thought of this before but, it is the same as the crown of thorns Jesus wore as the sacrificial lamb.

that you don't need religion in order to be a good person and lead an honest life? I'm an atheist and I live a very fulfilling life. I'm a good, caring person and I strive to do positive things with my life. I want to do good and help better this place we live in just because I can and I'm able to, not because it is required by some religion. Yet I have this friend who is honestly baffled by this. I try to explain it to the poor guy, but he just doesn't get it. He sure is cute though. Lol.
