TRUE religion is meant to govern one's self and not others. The only time it should govern another is if that person chooses to follow the same path. And not all faiths are the same, even if it is in the same religion?

Please elaborate of why you chose true or false

And by faiths, I mean beliefs.

VERY TRUE
No two people will take the same path, perhaps simular paths but never exactly the same. We all are free to make our choices, good or bad, and face our own concenquences.

True, but we do not need religion to govern morals and ethics. Some of my friends are proof of that.
Belief and faith are a very personal thing. No one can know exactly what lives inside another.

False. What truth there is in religion is ipso facto truth for all.

Morality is the perception of objective truth; and there aren't many truths, there's only one. "It's wrong to torture children." Will you really say that's "my" truth?

All law is the imposition of moral norms by force or the threat of force. And without law, we have chaos and barbarism. "Religion" is simply the traditional exposition of moral norms. All religion contains by necessity the impulse to universality. Religions fail when they extend this impulse beyond its legitimate boundaries -- i.e., when they insist on adherence to indemonstrable doctrines to be taken "on faith." So what's needed is a purification and reform of all religions to winnow out what in them is truly universally applicable.

I'm not sure how to answer this as I believe that religion is meant to guide not govern.

religion is man's attempt to reach God.

Jesus is God's attempt to reach man

don't waste your time trying to live by a set of rules, Accept Jesus as your savior and following the rules becomes a joy, not a burden

False, religion is for controlloing others. For governing one's self, simple spirituality will do.
