and met one of the bigwigs from PP, she just called me and asked if I would join the Regional Advisory Committee, working with teens at the clinic. Do you think this is a good way to get my foot in the door at Planned Parenthood, as a way to get more work, or possibly a paying job from them in the future? I am a stay at home mom right now, so i am trying to get in, so to speak so that when my daughter goes to school I can hopefully get a job there.

I find it odd that Christians base their religion on the death/sacrifice of Jesus? It seems a little cruel to hang a picture or statue of a dead man nailed to a cross over your bed in the bedroom. Sure, the Jews remember and respect the six million Jews that were gassed alive during WWII but they don't pray to little statues of them. I don't get it? Someone please explain this seemingly untasteful act of religion. Also, how do you explain that Jesus sacrificed his life for all Christians?

I do. There is this women named Sylvia Browne and she comes on the Montel Show every single Wednesday. Well i do believe what ever she says, but my parents think i am going crazy or somethng. Does anyone else belive what she says and has anyone else at least herd about her.

hes a drunk, he hit someone with a hammer over the head, he has been to jail for most of my life, he stole from his own family.. but yet he still prays evrey day and night.. Why would you commit all of theese sins and then pray when your just going to do it again? And even though he commits sins but belives and prays will he still go to hell? People always seem to say that boys are the big bad bullies. But I can say, from my point of view that it's the girls that are worst! I've only had 1 guy bully me in high, but I've lost track of how many girls have picked on me. Boys never argue, they may get into a fight but then they laugh about it a couple hours later. With us girls, we get into fights and it lasts for days, sometimes weeks, I once was ignored for a month.

I've been a fight with some friends who are girls for the past week. I've been lucky this time though, so far I've only had my school bag taken out my locker and dumped outside in the river, and had about 3 rumors spread about me. Arugument before this one was horrible though but I won't get into that. So far I've sent a couple nasty emails around to get back, but I guess I'm loosing the war right now.

Do any other girls agree that we are worst than guys? I think so, I am as well, but only because I need to retaliate or it's my social life down the drain.

We have so many divisions in religion - Catholic, all the Protestant denominations, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhism, etc. Is not the choice not to believe in anything just another form of religion?

my mother has had a stroke and i have been sending her healing ... after some discussions on this board about whether healing worked or not , i thought it would be good to experiment a little with my mothers permission ( which she gave )
for the past ten nights i have been sending her healing as she gets little sleep due to the pain and uncomfortableness of her legs
i suggested that for one night i would not send the healing , and asked her to let me know which night it wasnt sent
for 9 out of 10 nights she slept vey well with little discomfort
but the one night i didnt send ... she barely slept
i did not tell her which nights i would be sending and which nights i wouldnt
i would love to hear your thoughts on the experiment ...even if you have other thoughts on what may have happened ... all thoughts appreciated ( if not rude )
