my mother has had a stroke and i have been sending her healing ... after some discussions on this board about whether healing worked or not , i thought it would be good to experiment a little with my mothers permission ( which she gave )
for the past ten nights i have been sending her healing as she gets little sleep due to the pain and uncomfortableness of her legs
i suggested that for one night i would not send the healing , and asked her to let me know which night it wasnt sent
for 9 out of 10 nights she slept vey well with little discomfort
but the one night i didnt send ... she barely slept
i did not tell her which nights i would be sending and which nights i wouldnt
i would love to hear your thoughts on the experiment ...even if you have other thoughts on what may have happened ... all thoughts appreciated ( if not rude )

my mother is a strong ( stubborn ) wonderful woman ... she is open to things although doesnt have the same beliefs in me ...we are quite far from each other ( hence the distant healing ) ... she loves life and having fun .. she loves 60s music and musicals and anything upbeat and happy and would welcome any possitive thoughts xx

with distance healing .. i visualise my mother and i visualise giving her legs a rub .. it is mostly possitive thoughts mixed with sending out thoughts to spirit and asking their assistance in healing

Diane .. the time of year he passed would also have been the time of year his mother passed .. perhaps that is the sadness

mirage... it has been only 4 weeks since my mum took her stroke
the doctors cant figure out why she is walking lol
yes the white light energy is wonderful
and most distance healing puts you to sleep or makes you a little drowsy
so always best sent at night xx

I think you sensed that she was having a bad day and subconsciously decided not to use the healing that day. Because you want to believe it.

Oh, my aunt practices that, she did it to me when I was in the hospital as a child. I suddenly became temporarily paralyzed from the waste down, and no one could tell what was wrong with me. The doctors thought I was going to die. But my Aunt Judy, who is a therapeutic masseuse and Chakric healer, tried long-distance healing. I recovered, and the doctors couldn't figure it out! I am a staunch believer in things like this, I go to her for work every month, and she can do this thing that floods the body with white energy and puts you into a deep sleep, have you ever heard of this?

I think that your experiment is very interesting. It has been done by others, over and over again, most times with positive results. Some people attribute it to god listening, but I have another idea as to how it works.
I think it works because each human being is independently powerful in his/her own right. Combine and focus that power for a common cause, such as healing someone, and it is usually felt. I have no proof that this is how it works--it's just a belief I have. But, hey, if it works, it works.
btw, best wishes for your mother. I hope she feels better very soon!

It does work, and what a wonderful job you are doing she must be so proud of you and grateful, the mind entrusted with the spiritual world is a powerful thing, I am a little psychic sorry to you non believers but I do believe she has another at the side of her, a gentleman who smiles a lot and wears nice clothes who is helping you help her. Well done

I think that if someone has had a stroke and has a weakness the best way to is to continually stimulate that area......i want to devise a device that continually gives physiotherapy to the effected areas....so that the brain is recieving messages....this in theory will generate new pathways in the brain so that function will be returned..... positive thought is one of the most important things i would suggest your mum to be involved in....

You know medical professionals are just starting to do studies where they find people heal better with meditation, talking to others, and many other non-clinically standard things, while I don't understand how these things work exactly, I'm glad that many of them do - I'm happy for your mom.

Pangel, could you describe you mother and her favorite stories and hobbies?
Music also, any music, I want to know here in a short summary. I will send her some positive thoughts.

What you don't realise is that your mother planted cameras and microphones all around your house because she can't stand the thought of you being independent. She's been watching and listening in for years ... she knows every move you make, don't be fooled!

There's a lot to that. Just watch out for ego involvement. I think it's great what your doing with your mom.
Used in conjunction with science, faith can make a big difference.

isnt that amazing, i have been healed by God and prayed for friends who have also received healing.You get such a buzz from it, dont ya? to know that your thoughts helped with the process
