I've converted and I love being where I am. We don't practice polygamy, and I don't drink or smoke. Why, we are the people who will outlive everyone and rule the earth. What do you think of that???

I am kidding by the way. I am not that amazingly megalomaniacal. I love your answers. I am glad you think we're OK. If you think we're misled, believe me, I understand. Thanks.

Sadly, the adversary can lead people away from the spirit...that seems to be happening more and more in the world.
But, some day it will come to an end and we can live forever with our families and our Heavenly Father and Jesus! What a glorious day that will be for those of us who are ready.

The issue isn't Mormons. I love Mormons and I'm sure others here who are truly following Christ do as well. But I think Christians have major doctrinal problems with MormonISM. So many things about Mormon doctrine don't add up in light of the fact that Galatians 1:8 precludes "new" gospels from an angel or any other source and the lack of archaeological evidence (the gold plates, for one thing) to corroborate what Joseph Smith said he received from Moroni.

I don't know you, so I can't say anything about you. The LEADERS are a different story. The first 2 are a case in point.
I converted not to the LDS church because I concluded from evidence and the Bible that Joseph Smith was a false prophet. I dont drink or smoke either.
Jesus will rule the earth, not the LDS church! That's what I think of what you say.

mormons still get a bad rap because of their early history as pirates along the east coast. the mormon pirates were ruthless in those days and would waylay any ship they could find, steal the cargo, make the men walk the plank and take the women as 2nd and 3'rd and sometimes even 4th wives.

the continental congress put a stop to that and authorized several warships to capture and rid the world of the evil mormon pirates. after a long chase the mormon pirates were finally defeated and captured.

they were then exiled to utah---that being as far away from the sea as possible back then. they were left alone out there to marry many wives and do whatever it is they do---except for pirating.

arrrrgghhh matey!

i will't shop in ideas the verse, in spite of the indisputable fact that it is also contained in the e book of Mosiah, and it really is the line close to the top, contained in the approach a verse, the position King Benjamin says "Now, if ye trust this stuff, see that ye do them." I continually loved that, because Christianity (real Christianity) is to take action--to adhere to and obey Christ. i imagine that line fairly a lot sums up the completed gospel. For the lady who's dissatisfied about the e book of Mosiah no longer being a e book of the bible--no kidding. We by no skill claimed it turned right into a Bible. it really is yet another testomony of Jesus Christ. The books contained in the recent testomony are not an identical because the former. Does that lead them to a lot less valid?

Idaho Mike said he will fight against the church, but 2 months ago he said:

"Christian to Christian... Will you ignore the bashers?
Will all the Christians here try to resist the temptation to respond to the aniti- God/Christian posts? Will the Christians here, and any others who do not like the hate posts and all the deliberate bashing stuff, also keep posting, from time to time, a simmiler request to this. So that eventualy all the haters will just be talking to themselves... I know they can not be stopped from answering... but if all who do not like the hate and bash and bait just to cause trouble crap would just stop replying to them they would have no incentive to keep it up... just a thought, if any would go along with it...

I know it is tempting to just hit back, and I am guilty of that myself... but this all here has gotten way bad...I know they can not be gotten rid of...but they can be ignored "

Funny how they can dish it out.

I think you may be feeling a tad self-congratulatory, especially with that "rule the earth" business, but I understand what you're trying to say. I'm a Catholic, but have met many nice Mormons, and have never had a problem with them personally.

I know many who are in the mormon cult... and they are very good people by the worlds standards... do many good thing for the community and such... but the deception they follow is pure garbage streight from the deception library of satan.... every one who is deceived by that evil will be eternaly seperated from God...

I will oppose that evil to my last mortal breath. It is probably second only to islam in the danger it poses to the world.

Don't worry, I don't believe that Mormons are evil. I don't know know if they will rule the Earth, but it won't bother me if they do. We could do worse. Mormons have good values.

WHy are you trying to convince them of your worth or value? People who judge other people in a negative way are not worth thinking about.
