Where was the first reference to God as a Father made? I believe Jesus to be God, but I do not know why He called God the Father, the Father. I know that Jesus was first called the Son of Man in the Book of Daniel and I can understand that. But I would like to know if Jesus was trying to teach us about family relationships and who better to have as the father than the God-head. Am I wrong?

Hi My sister in law and her husband just bought a new house here in the U.S. She lived for a short time in Ireland and really enjoyed it there.

I'm trying to think of a suitable housewarming gift for her (around $10 as I don't have a lot of money). Any suggestions? In particular, if she was still living in Ireland, what would a typical Irishperson give as a housewarming gift?

Did you know that all your religious leaders (such as myself, Jesus and Muhammed) are all members of the Super Best Friends?

Personally, I think that no one should use the word. It is degrading.

However, it makes you think.
What are these people's motives behind asking such a question? Why would they want to say the word in the first place?

I'm not saying that all who make this statement are racist themselves, it's just that the question itself has a racist ring to it.

I mean there is a book on how the world was created, and how we are like we are.there are signs for the end of the world writen in the Bible and they are coming true.the Bible was written how long ago! And the signs are coming true today,its kinda hard not to beilieve.
