The Lord Jesus Christ had to come to earth as a man so He could die for your sins. When He was on earth the Nation of Israel had to believe that He was their King so the Kingdom could be set up. When they rejected Him He died for the the sins of the world because He was God manifested in the flesh. He rose again the third day so all that would believe in Him could be justified. Philippians 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Luke 22:1-5 is dealing with what Judas did when Satan entered into him. Luke 22: 2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. Luke 22: 3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. Luke 22: 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. Luke 22: 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
