Every time I quote Jesus, Christians tell me I am quoting him out of context. Why would the writers of the gospels try to mislead people by always putting his sermons and sayings so consistently in the wrong context? What is the right context, and who decides?

Masons and witches used the psalms, or in any person involved in mystical things know that the are secret power hidden in the reciting of the psalms.because, some people says that there is an angel that depending on the pslam you recite ...you could do or eveil with them ..

I belive religion started as something to control people and give them something to believe

I belive religion was the first form of governemet that existed on this world to get people under control by saying that if you do wrong some supernatural force will punish you and if you do something good it will compensate you that way they could stop people from doing unethical things.

People also needed an aswer to what happens after you die so religion came up with things such as you go to heaven if you do good and you go to hell if you do wrong.

Now religion was man made and i believe that religion was exagerated the same way as you telling your friend you went out with someone and by the end of the day people are saying you slept with the person, people like to exagerate things and i think that is what happen to many of the stories in the bible.

now this is just my opinion but i dont belive to much in religion and i believe it is false hope correct me if i'm wrong thou.

Ok, so here it is....I'm not going to go in depth but i have psychic alilities that in the past i've chosen to ignore...I see flash images in my head of things that are just about to happen..they aren't clear but very choppy, sim to watching a 3 second movie clip in your mind, i also have a strong sense of just 'knowing' , if i've lost something i see where it is etc...Anyway i've just recently been made 'more' aware of this gift, its hard to explain but i've always had this, so to me it didn't appear anything out of the ordinary...You could say that i have finally acknowledged i have something special that must appear 'abnormal' to most, i have always denied i was 'different'.........now that i've decided to accept this, this question IS......WHY 'now' that i'm more aware and the visions are getting stronger, do i feel such an air head...serious answers only..........

Why are there no white actors award, or white entertainment channels. What's the deal. Is it too racist to have such a thing? Why are there black awards, BET, Black history month. Is racism leaning towards white america. Is america becoming racist against the white man?

I am thinking I like this religion and spirituality section. You guys are cool. But I have 2 question and only one more chance to ask (level 1 stinks) so here goes:
1) Is it better to ask questions or answer questions to get more points so I can escape the bowels of level 1 h3ll?
2) Why do people answer if they think your question sucks?
