well it depends on what you believe, for some its Friday night to Saturday and for some its Sunday, what really matters is that you keep the sabbath as GOD commanded

The Sabbath is measured from sundown Friday through sundown Saturday.
As a way of recognizing Jesus' resurrection, Christians worship on Sunday, which is called "The Lord's Day" or "the first day of the week" in the NT. It is NOT to be confused with the Sabbath.
The Sabbath and Sunday are two completely different days.
Peace.

In Judaism, the Sabbath day (Shabbat, in Hebrew), is Saturday, because God established the seventh-day Sabbath forever.
In Christianity, the Sabbath day is Sunday, because Christian legend holds Jesus' resurrection as having occured on Sunday.
I'm not sure why, but the Islamic Sabbath is Friday.
However, not all Christian denominations worship on Sunday. Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, some sects of the Church of Christ and the Church of God, and a few other denominations worship on Saturday.

Technically, the 7th day of the week is the sabbath. (That's what the Bible says.)
But we have gotten it mixed up with the issue of church attendence, and which day of the week the congregation gathers at church for worship.
Saturday sabbath will always be; it is for a sign between God and Israel.
But the custom that Christian churches gather on Sunday began in the first century. Paul mentions it in his first Corinthian letter.
It has more to do with offering first fruits, i.e. worshipping on the first day of the week.
Essentially, we can and should worship God every day of the week. Gather together with your own congregation whenever they get together.

According to the Catechism Sabbath is Saturday the Seventh day of the week!!! It is also defined this way in the dictionary and in the encyclopedia. back in AD321 or so when Constantine "became a Christian" He changed the day of worship and most christians followed his rule. The ones that didn't were persecuted, torchured by the church and put to death. See your history book!

Saturday is the sabbath. Sunday would be the first day of the week. But that has all changed. I think it's in the bible why it changed but don't quote me on it.

In old Testament times, the Sabbath was the 7th day of the week - Saturday. (Strictly speaking Friday sunset to Saturday sunset)
After Jesus Christ was resurrected, Christians mark Sunday as the Sabbath day. What can be more holy than the day when the Saviour overcame death, so that we can all be resurrected!?

Originally denoting Saturday, the seventh day of the week, or, more precisely, the time period from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, the term "sabbath" can now mean one of several things, depending on the context and the speaker:
Saturday, as originally, in reference to Jewish or historical observance;
Saturday, as above, as a day of observance for some Christian groups;
Sunday, as the day of observance for Roman Catholics and other Christian groups;
Saturday and Sunday as a day of relaxing;
Any day or time period for relaxing and enjoying God.[2]

Saturday is the sabbath day but Christians are not subject to it.Collosians 2,"Let no man,condem you ,neither on feast days or days of worship or sabbath days,these were Shadows of what Christ accomplished.
When we rest in Christs' finished work on the cross..we are "sabbathing" taking our rest.
Jesus rose on Sunday the 1rst day of the week,so we go to church then.Paul used to argue in the Synagoges on Sat. and meet with the bretheren on Sun.

Saturday is the sabbath. Christians meet on the Sunday because that is the day that the disciples of Christ gathered for fellowship.
