i dont know about all non believers but i am a christian and my husband is not and he is always cursing the LORD every time i turn around, he has tryed to make me turn away from JESUS but it has never happened and it never will. i just keep praying fro him and every one

Maybe for the same reasons Christians put non Christians down. And as for the reason why some people don't believe in god its simple they don't have to its called the right to choose.

I put down the Christians (or Muslims, or Hebrews, or Raelians...I'm an equal opportunist) who do their level best to make ignorance and superstition in6to virtues. I put down those who try to pass of religious convictions and dogma as scientific fact, while at the same time greeting real scientific facts with the old standby "IT'S JUST A THEORY!" I put down those who try to drag humanity back into the Dark Ages with banners flying and drums beating. I put down those who are so insecure about their own faith that they try to get everyone else to march in lock step with them...from Muslims who firebomb churches because of a Papal speech to Christians who wail on and on about how they're being "oppressed" by not being allowed to puch their rules on to others. I strike back because the believers affect me just like rain or sunshine do...their ubiquity and constant pressure to conform are ever-present.
Why do Christians put all non-believers down? Why do they not accept the truth of the Invisible Pink Unicorn? May her hooves shine eternally.

People r afraid of the unknown. 2 It is part of the programing they have been taught in their religion 3.Each person is sure his god is the right one. Who knows . did u know there have been more wars fought in the name of religion then any other cause. Which sort of makes u wonder?? Just live a life to be proud of and treat people nice. Just because a non doesn't believe in your God, doesn't mean they don't believe in a God.
And I see some Christians putting non-believers down as well. I think it's even so far.

I am a Christian, And I think non believers put all Christians down becouse inside of their soul they wish they had what we do, and that is faith. If someone does not believe in Jesus Christ he is lost. It is the most wonderful gift in the world to know that you will have everlasting life with the father. I feel sorry for non believers. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that a lot of christians treat non believers like ****... I mean, if I'm wrong in my beliefs, why do you care... I mean it's more room in heaven for you, and an eternity of suffering for me... I don't need some two-bit holier-than-thou mouth breather to give me a hard time about it... I mean, if I'm wrong, God will punish me, it's not your job to act like an asshole to me...

It has nothing to do with them being non-believers. Some people are rude regardless of their religion. There are just as many rude Christians out there. BTW, I'm Christian.
