An Agnostic says there is insufficient evidence to support the claim for a god or goddess. And Atheist argues there is definite evidence to support the belief gods and goddesses do not exist.

Knocking down one or two pantheons does not demonstrate that there is -no- god or goddess, only the ones knocked down.

Shall we use your logic and argue that you do not love because you cannot provide verifiable evidence that you feel love? Shall we use your logic and argue that you do not fear because you cannot provide verifiable evidence that you feel fear? Is there any reason to believe you are not simply interactive software programs because we do not have verifiable proof you exist as humans?

Using the 'lack of evidence' argument is not a very convincing one. How many of you have personally witnessed an atom, or an atom bomb going off? Shall we argue they do not exist either, because you cannot verify from personal experience their existence?

some people claimed to only belief what they can physically see, touch or smell. Since they think they can't do that with God, they don't believe.

i dunno how many of these people cracked open their skull first to see their brains before they decide that yes, they do indeed have brains!

anyway, my question:
what other things that we cannot see, touch or smell, yet we still believe in? and i'm NOT looking for other parts of our innards!

It amazes me that people ask such serious questions such as "Should I kill myself" and people who answer "yes" get voted as best answer versus those of us who take the time to explain the negativity of the situation. Who is voting for such ignoranance? Some people really take the time and put their thoughts and experience into some of these answers hoping to help someone in need, and then dumb people come along and just answer for the points or for the attention and yet they get voted best. It really amazes me. So explain to me why the idiots get the prize for being an idiot? America is getting a bad image due to the stupidity of how we portray ourselves. Noone takes anything or anyone seriously. They would videotape a suicide for YouTube rather than be up there coaxing the kid down. Greed and selfishness rule this country and then everyone complains about the leaders who are just like the average american, only out for themselves. Leave idiotic reponses. Prove me right.
