laziness breeds laziness, if you start doing stuff during the day and being more active it will stimulate your mind and you wont find everything such a chore

Yes people are very rude about this, especially to a person they do not know.
I have your issue, I feel guilty all the time.
I've been inactive for a year due to online school and recovering from a car accident and it's really hard to get back into life.
Everything outside your home feels super overwhelming.
so like sleepwalker said, just start out by volunteering to get out of the house and used to working. but make sure you show up. have somebody do it with you or ask your friends or even your ******* parents if you have to hold you accountable for going.
try a reward system - if you go, you can be lazy and stare at the wall for two hours and turn your phone off and daze when you get home. lol.
doing nothing is an addiction.
it only gratifies the moment but for the long run it hurts you.
i really just think that was from God because I needed to hear it too.
Hope things get better -
love,
Alexandra

Okay, all these people are telling you to exercise. When your feeling lazy, tell yourself that you should not waste the day. You should start by stepping outside and enjoying the fresh air. Just sit on your porch for a bit. Take a book or magazine with you. You'll feel energized just being outside. Or invite friends over, you cant be lazy when you are the host!

RE:
Why am I so lazy?
I dont do anything all day. When there is something to do I try and get out of it.
Even to my family and close friends I am undependable. My girlfriend says I am a selfish person and I agree. Please give me some motivation and direction Yahoo users.

That's a question you'll have to answer for yourself. You are the only one who can know why you are the way you are, if you're willing to put in the effort to examine yourself. The fact that you're asking a bunch of strangers rather than doing the research for yourself illustrates yet again your laziness.
As for what you can do about it: Well, acknowledging the problem is the first step. If you wish to improve yourself, which will have the side effects of improving others' opinions of you, make an effort to change. The next time you have a chore to do or someone asks you for a favor, DO IT! Make it a habit to accomplish more with your time. You'll feel better about yourself.

What do you think about going to college, or joining the military, or try getting a job, do you wanta forever depend on people to do things for you, you gotta be a man! You can't be happy doing nothing all day! Just think about the future, how would you like to be living in 5-7 years? Right now you got to make sacrifices to live better!

Because this society allows you to be lazy. You can order whatever you need off the internet. You can get your education from a television. You can pay someone to come and clean your home. Why have the motivation if the world gives you every option to be lazy? You have to want to not only BE alive but FEEL alive in order to do something with your life. Being lazy makes you feel sluggish. If you want your lifespan to be 30 years, then yes, keep on truckin...but you will just be a waste of space.
