My entire life this has been the story, I'm not single or looking just an observation I've made over the years and just can't seem to figure it out.

Insult me all you want people, I have thick skin and don't care what you think, it's an honest question at least I'm not bashing right. I'm married to a very rugged, strong manly man who gets dirty for a living, I've just noticed that gay guys are cute not hot or gorgeous CUTE.

It could be because the gay guys *that you notice* are those that are obviously gay, exibiting such steriotypical gay-associated attributes as fastidiousness (sp?) and stylishness that tend to improve their appearance.

Or it could be be because men tend to be more sexually stimulated by visual cues than women, which I would imagine would apply to gay as well as straight men. That would prompt their prospective mates (straight women & gay men) to enhance their appearance in order to be more attractive.

Those are the only things I can think of that might realistically lead you to that conclusion.

lilbit, there are many very cute and handsome men out there gay, bi, and straight. As a gay man I notice them all the time with thier husbands, bf/gfs and wives. If they are single I notice them a bit more and hand them my number if they notice me back.

I will say this, a majority of gay men tend to take care of themselves more. We do go to gyms, and spas. We take care of our skin, hair and teeth. We care about our health and appearance. We tend to have better fashion sense as well. This I am sure you can add to this equation.

However, don't give up hope. I know first hand there are many cute straight men out there for you to enjoy if that is what you want. However get him quick girl, before I do.

Actually, I think your question is cute, but as a gay guy, I can definitely tell you, its simply not true. There are alot of cute gay guys, but (at least in raw numbers) there are a great many more cute straight boys. Its just a question of numbers, really. There are technically about 90% more straight boys than gay ones. So, knowing that we're all pretty much the same, except for some grooming, about 90% of the cute boys are actually straight.

I think you are finding that the average gay man pays more attention to his appearance and grooming than the average straight man. Everyone looks cuter in better packaging.

Well, I don't know about you but I don't really like the cute effeminate boys, I like guys more like your husband so I wouldn't be complaining if I were you!

I think cute males are gay cause they see them as women.

It comes with the gay gene so we are lucky two ways
1: no nagging wives
2: great looks so women want us

If you think they are only "cute" you aren't looking in the right places.

Sorry, even at age 55, I just can't help it. Women (mostly divorced) are STILL trying to get in my pants!

Of course, at my age, they're trying to get into my pants for my wallet, but I'll still take it as a compliment.:-)
