If so, my answer is: NO, my culture (American) is NO better than any other culture.

The pontiff, in his address in Regensburg, argued that faith is a part of reason and should be seen as such. It seems to me that just the opposite is true - That faith is the negation of reason, since it denies the validity of logical argument and objective evidence in the formation of belief, which are the cornerstones of rational thought.

What do you think?

Who else hated this look as much as I did?
It screamed, "I'm too lazy to shop for nice-fitting pants, so I'm wearing these spandex, and covering my as$ with a long shirt".

It was almost as bad as women who wear the sweat pants all the time because they're too lazy to lose the weight to fit into a pair of jeans.

One time, while grocery shopping, I actually saw a women in sweats, her hair pulled into a top-knot, and in slippers. How effed-up is that?!

Just how far South must one travel here in the USA to find that "Southern Hospitality" I've always heard about? Or is it really just a myth?
How about a "y'all have a nice day, y'hear"......if it's still true?

Recently, I posted a survey and one of the questions asked what has been the worlds most catastrophic event, and many put that 9/11 was the one; many also put that when questioned as to what their countries' most influential occurrence was....Am I the only one who thinks that there have been more pressing historical happenings??!!! Probably not, but anyway, I would like to know what your opinion is on the matter...

Okay so I beleive in reincarnation and all that stuff. But at this rate, don't you think the earth might like die? Or the sun will die or we will blow ourselves up? Or there will be like another ice age or sumthing?
And isn't it hard to think of eternity, like something with no end. Cuz we humans are so used to everything having an end. Books have endings, movies have endings, if you follow a string long enough you will get to the end.

So how could our souls have no end?

Will someone tell me their beleifs on this?

Why do I read about these people living in the forest, or jungle, or desert and feel like they are the closest thing I can get to having a brother or sister of humanity? How come their smiles seem so much more sincere in the pictures I see and how can they have happiness with nothing at all? Nothing meaning a civilized world full of toys?

I believe he took away my sexual desires. At the beginning of my hormone replacement therapy(I take hormone pills because my docs say I produce little estrogen so they prescribed it) I had sexual desires every now and then so I begged God to take those desires away because one, you can't have sex before marriage and two I didn't have anyone to do it with. Now I can't get aroused no matter what I do or if a guy touches me. What do you think?((been 4 years like this) I'm 21 by the way




By the way I never had a boyfriend and I don't have a boyfriend.


and no I don't try to suppress these desire or deny my nature. I don't have mental probs or depressed.

to look like a *****? I have heard that some mules think people recieve lip alterations to look like them? how stupid is that right?

if that were the case the lips would hang about 1".

"fuller" lips doesn't mean ***** lips. spaniards have beautiful lips as do northern europeans but some of their lips are just not well developed.

Unfortunately I am still at the stage in life where I am judging things just like many of you on this site......My question is do you react to something you are judging or do you stop and try to understand why a person made such a comment or action and take that into mind in your judgement.

I am finding the more I do this the less I am actually finding myself judging others......has anyone else discovered this?
