First of all, to be able to swim in a barrel you must be awfully small, or have a great honkin' barrel. If you swim in sewage you'll stink like hell, if you swim in acid, you'll melt. If you swim in oily waste you'll also look and smell like hell. If you swim in nuclear waste, you,ll glow in the dark, and perhaps grow new appendages or.........melt. Hope this helps your decision making process(if it were me, I'd choose beer).
