mad with your need for all the i's to be dotted and the t's to be crossed?
I drive my hubby mad full stop! Because he thinks I pay far too much attention to detail.

Autumn should be spelt with a capital 'A'.
There is no comma needed to separate your clauses when the second starts with 'that', only if it starts with 'which'.
You don't need to repeat the 'to be' . . . 'i's to be dotted and t's crossed' is fine.
'Full stop' is not a recognised adverb or adjective.
Your last 'sentence' is not a sentence. Start it with 'This is'
Try not to be so pedantic . . . :)

I am exactly the same, with the result I can't see the wood for the trees, and nothing worthwhile gets done, although I have managed to untangle the cling foil today - took ages, meanwhile my boyfriend cooked breakfast, sorted out working clothes, cooked dinner - Oh and I put flowers in a vase and did some shopping, yet I can concentrate at work - strange or just laziness You see if its not done properly I won't do it and its a pain!! Glad to know someone else is pedantic.

You obviously like a little order in your life, you pay attention to teh details, (unlike me) keep at it, if no one bothered about correct grammar and pronounciation we'd be spkng txtwrds before too long.
I think the English language is the most expressive in the world, and to use it effectively, one must occasionally add a comma, hyphen - or apostrophe' as one needs to for emphasis and clarity. You keep up the good work...i only wish there were more like you...

You compulsively correct people and obsess over perfection? I doubt that you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (see source). I come from a long line of perfectionists and married one, boy I thought I was bad, he's worse.
I learned to keep my opinions to myself. My kids were afraid to try anything new, lest "Mommy" may sting them with her polite correction. Ease up on your husband if you can. If you can't, seek professional help. He may need it too if he is that sloppy.

Hi there sister! I'm the same way! I can make people a little crazy too. Fortunately I married another perfectionist, so we pretty much agree on those things. Though we each have our pet perfectionist projects. (-:

This what we call balance.
Some see the big picture and use their creativity to enhance it (These people tend to be more impulsive.)
Where as others look for stability and cannot build without establishing firm foundations. (These people tend not to do anything if it can't be done properly.)

Yes, I can; but only rarely, and only toward people who deserve it.
And I love playing the devil's advocate, too!
