Isn't his body the temple of God? Are we not to take care of what God has given us? It is a spiritual question if you believe what is taught, so don't you believe?

Sorry but I don't believe we were made in God's image. Mankind has a very arrogant streak in it. To me the idea we were made in his image is blasphemy. But back to the subject at hand. No one has the right to ridicule anyone actually. Funny, my parents taught me that. A lot of people would sure be in trouble if Saint Peter asked, what have you done for your fellow man and all you can say was I laughed at a, I will be nice here, a portly man. You know the golden rule does works. I kind of also have to go along with "papaofgir" answer.

The body is the temple of God, yes, and for those who do not believe this, as far as I know, we only get one body. So, taking good care of our one vehicle is important. Perhaps those who ridicule the person who wants to lose weight are doing so out of ignorance. Let us not hate them, but turn away from ridiculing comments and not allow those remarks to enter into the heart.

Have you people REALLY never heard of Michael Moore? He's a film-maker and author. Whoever is using his name and likeness is a troll. It was not a legitimate question.
