Anyone actually read his speech? A link is provided below (in English):
I don't care how offended you are by words. The nun didn't deserve to be killed.
And what does this have to do with Iraq - Benedict has condemned that war. What does this have to do with Bush - Bush isn't a Catholic.
Ultimately, the only ones who remain offended after an apology from the Pope (something that rarely happens, and rarely so quickly) are the ones itching for a fight.

Pope Benedict xvi is a Terrorist if he can use the media to incite hatred against Islam and Muslims when he wants to follow the trend that was set by the Vatican when it supported Adolf Hitler in his attempt to exterminate the Biblical Jews.
If Pope Benedict xvi sees in George W Bush the same Messiah that the Vatican saw in Adolf Hitler then he has to accept the blame for the death of the nun or whoever suffers for his stupidity in his Terrorist declarations of the Catholic Church.
The Pope has been proven to be very fallible in any utterances they make concerning human behaviour since they live a subhuman existence in shirking the responsibility for which man was created.
Muhammad had his fair share of wives and the Vatican looks on women as the curse of mankind and therefore encourages the evils of Christian society to women and their children and the imprisonment of women in their nunneries and their monastries where young boys and women are sexually abused as an accepted result of Christianity.
The Pope should keep his evil mouth out of the Scriptures and stop his envy of prophets and Islam. He should stick to his Greek mythology.

To apeace the Muslims he should apologize, but Islam should check its violent pass. Pope Benedict was quoting the pass. That quot is one of the reason why Christopher Columbus discovered the New World, trying to look for a new passage to trade with India.

Actually, the pope's speech in Germany that started this mess was awesome and balanced; he praised Islam insofar as it resembled Christianity and criticized the parts of it that conflict with God's justice and mercy. Here's the entire thing (Warning, it's wordy but worth the effort):

Meanwhile, back at his summer ranch...the popes apology, in full text, out loud, clearly, for all the reporters to hear...for all the world to see...

something is wrong with islam, and the Pope. He shouldnt apologize for anything he said. Muslims need to apologize for bombing the world trade centers and a lot of other things they've been doing to kill innocent people. But dont hear anything about that.

Looking at the text of the Pope's speech, it says he was deeply sorry for the reactions evoked by his previous comments.
He did not offer to change his comments.
That's political apology, a "non-apology apology."
BRAVO that he did not take back his remarks.
As for the murdered nun? It just reaffirms what Islam has been shouting at us all along. "Islam is peace!" (hog-wash)
3 cheers for the Pope.
No cheers for Islam.
Condolences to the family of the nun.

What kind of people shoot a 60 year old (nurse) missionary nun in the back ? There is no comment I can make that makes this action any worse than it already is. I forgive her murderers and know that she is now truly a saint in heaven. May her example of a life of unselfish love be one for all of us to imitate.

Sara, be careful approximately what you're saying. words have nuances that commonly get away to human beings. The pope did no longer say he grew to become into DEEPLY SORRY approximately HIS feedback ON ISLAM (additionally because of the fact he had no feedback on Islam on that subject count...as what he suggested and led to an incredible type of issues is an extract of a overdue middle age rfile wherein an emperor - Manuel the Paleologist - discusses with a muslim chief telling him Islam did no longer convey any constructive element on the worldwide for non muslims and the muslims had the habit to unfold their faith with the aid of the sword fairly than with the aid of the peace, that's an historic fact critically proved for that particular historic era). What he extremely mentioned on television (stay in Italy, the place i stay) grew to become into that he grew to become into DEEPLY SORRY to be conscious HOW HIS words OF PEACE AND communicate have been DEEPLY MISUNDERSTOOD with the aid of a few MEDIA AND with the aid of ISLAMISTS. to function on something you ought to understand men of church talk in a particular jargon, which could often times be very sublte so which you're able to be able to desire to examine between the lines. And the message for this reason grew to become into that WHOEVER APPLIES VIOLENCE to get to his targets isn't A BELIEVER (Be it catholic, muslim, indu or the rest)

Everytime some one makes a remark about the Islam, you 'd better watch out. I thought that the Islam was all about love and peace. Why the bombings and why do they have to use the sword to conquer the world??? Where is the love for human beings???
