When people think that they or their group is "better" than others I'd like to point out that theirs is a subjective point of view and as such is very narrow and intolerant of differences. We've gone through 6,000 years of recorded excuses as to why one group was "better" or "chosen" or my favorite, "destined to rule". It all gets so old, lets try some thing new people...........let's try we're all in this together and we either triumph together or be defeated one by one by one until there is no one left.

I don't think you can judge "cultures" so therefore no culture is "better" than another. People compare things like science and technological advances and equate that with "culture." There are products which come out of a "culture" but are not the culture themselves. For example, the pyramids were built by ancient Egyptians but their culture included enslaving human beings.

Culture is all about beliefs, arts and the social fabric of a people and it is constantly changing and evolving.

No, I dont think the Canadian culture is better than any other culture. But then again, cultures are hard to compare because they're so different. I think every culture is rich in some way (history, arts, etc.).

Dude, I am also an American, and I think our culture is way better than anyone else's. We don't have to eat bugs, we don't have to eat our dead relatives, and we can pretty much do whatever we want. Our current President and Congress really stink, but America itself rocks. And, since we're in America, I can say that the President and Congress stink, and no one can do anything about it. Yet another reason why America is just plain better. :-D

My culture (mexican) is not any better than anyone elses, just different. And you don't have to be mexican to appreciate it. I can find many great things in everybody's culture. I'm very interested in Hindu culture for some reason.

No. No culture is better nor worse than any other. They are just different. They all have their good things, and..well..not so good things. So I tend to take the good in mine and learn from other cultures as well.

people might think that their culture is better than others in the sense that are content with their own culture enough and that it would fit them most.

Yes if your referring to America, Try living in any other country and see how long you can make it. This is the only place with checks and balances. They might be full of holes but they are there.
