Okay so I beleive in reincarnation and all that stuff. But at this rate, don't you think the earth might like die? Or the sun will die or we will blow ourselves up? Or there will be like another ice age or sumthing?
And isn't it hard to think of eternity, like something with no end. Cuz we humans are so used to everything having an end. Books have endings, movies have endings, if you follow a string long enough you will get to the end.

So how could our souls have no end?

Will someone tell me their beleifs on this?

"Time", is relative.

The Sun has around another 5 billion years of life in it as yet, so no need to worry on that score.
Humans survived the last Ice Age and wil survive the next one, IF we don't "blow ourselves up".
Perhaps thinking of time as a loop, rather than a line may help.
With regards to reincarnation, time has it's relevance. One could be reincarnated before they were to die. So a baby you pass in the street tommorrow, COULD be your future reincarnation! Or, you could be born many hundreds of years in the future, or the past. This is because time being "linear" is only an illusion. Time as we comprehend it as passing from "A" to "C", via "B" that is. In reality, there is only "B" - the present instant. Therefore, once one can understand this incredibly complex matter(which I would only do an injustice to, should I make an attempt at explaining it further)one then is able to understand eternity and the validity in it's existence.

Well it is actually believed that the soul can die, it is the spirit that lives for ever. The soul and the spirit get used so interchangeably now a days people have forgotten the difference. It is thought that time is a man made concept and to a spirit time is meaningless. In an eternal thing as the universe all things are possible and all things that have happened will happen again. Simply put you will be reborn again at some point in the future, given the right circumstances.

I was just about to pass your question by when I read the last line; so, here are my beliefs.

I believe in the God of the Christian Bible. And the Bible describes God's plan of salvation for mankind that supersedes the problems of a dying earth or universe.

Yes, eternity is hard to think about; in fact, it is impossible to think about accurately. Personally, I have less difficulty thinking of 'eternally, ever after', than thinking about 'eternally, long ago'. It seems that the wisest man ever to have lived had trouble thinking of eternity too. King Solomon wrote, "He [God] has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their [mans] hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

All that being said, the Bible also reveals that our souls are NOT eternal:
[God said] "Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die." (Eze 18:4, also in verse 20)

The New Testament agrees with this:
"For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." (1Co 15:53)

In other words, we are all doomed to die if God doesn't give us eternal life; and he doesn't give it out to everyone automatically. Those who do receive eternal life will live on forever regardless of the condition of the universe. Yet, of the universe God's Word says this:
"Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will have no end. The children of Your servants will continue, And their descendants will be established before You." (Psalms 102:25-28, also Hebrews 1:10-12)

"For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I [God] will make shall remain before Me," says the Lord, "So shall your descendants and your name remain." (Isa 66:22)

The universe is doomed to die, but God and his children will live forever in a new and everlasting universe.

And BTW, your question is good at showing a flaw in a belief in reincarnation.

Earth is on a constant cycle and yes I believe there will be an age where all life on earth with cease to exist, then there will be another ice age and the earth will cleanse itself and start all over a gain. If the sun explodes the earth will pull away from its axis and spin off into space causing an end to life and when it finds a new sun it will start life all over again in this new solar system. But best not to think about it and just enjoy life now.

Good song she quoted above. George is a great man.

The thing is this, if we are all energy, and science has proved this, we retain a magnetic charge.

Our awareness would not change very much if at all considering the rate our energy vibrates.

Those who see the world or see existence very similar would be a magnetic like to you and you would flock to them.

That is why every culture has their own idea of heaven.

Anyways, those who choose to reborn are after something greater, it was their decision.

Some choose to be constantly reborn until we all become enlghtened and it is very noble.

But to stop existing.....I will not tell you my truth as only I can understand it but, here is something.

How would you know what heaven was if you never had an experience of being in heaven to associate it with?

If reincarnation is true and the concept that when you die, you go to heaven is also true, what have we gotten?

You always were and always will be, you are a spiritual being having a human experience, you where created in flesh to house your soul, in spirit there is no end it is only in flesh that limits you to an end, the dead know nothing but the spirit moves on to eternity because the spirit has no limitations.

A circle has no end, neither does life. We just change locations.

But you are right that the heavens and earth will pass away, but it won't be an ice age; it will be the "or something" like raining fire.
Have no fear a new heaven and earth will be formed!!!!

Exactly why reincarnation cannot be logically believed..
ALL things come to an end...all things get old, wear out, fall apart...even the Earth

If you consider the end of life to be the day we go home to be with the Father, then that would be the end for me.
