Just how far South must one travel here in the USA to find that "Southern Hospitality" I've always heard about? Or is it really just a myth?
How about a "y'all have a nice day, y'hear"......if it's still true?
***nothing in this world more sexy than those true Souhern accents***

I myself sweetheart am in North Carolina, and I have found that there is a lot of southern hospitality down here...well compared to California where I came from originally. Come on down and say hello! Also another place to find southern hospitality is at a cracker barrel restaurant! they are mostly in the south.

All familiar verbage here in Arkansas, along with a regular serving of "Yes, Sir" and "Yes, Ma'am." It is also polite to call someone by there first name with a Mr. or Miss in front of it, ie. Miss Caroline or Mr. Charles. I'm from N.J. and really like it down here.

Just come down as far as Kentucky and you'll get it ;)

Edit: lol, you like our southern accents? I always thought people from up north perceived us as stupid because of them...thanks for the compliment!

Anywhere a Southerner is, is the south.. and, most of the time, we treat people politely.. sometimes, of course, we have to be a bit short with somebody, but, it's generally because they disrespected us.
But, if you drive down the street, and I'm sitting on my porch, I'll wave at ya..
And, generally, it's with ALL my fingers..

I moved to the very bottom of Indiana last year, and it's ALL southerners here. I'm the only Yankee for miles around.
