I'll just come straight out. "Is there 'Really' a way to hold a fork when cutting meat or any food?" And I mean a universal rule or law that governs the proper way to cut food. I dont mean people 'opinions' on how 'They' think it should be done but rather a form that everyone follows and agrees with. My Gf said that me holding my fork like a dagger is the absolute 'wrong' way to cut my meat and that holding it like a pen is the absolute 'right' way. But she's the first person in my entire life to mention that to me and i know many people who do it the same way. Just a little debate. I argue thats its all cultural and how you are raised. It might not look as 'Eloquent' as holding it like a pen but does it really matter? She feels very strong about it. I'm just trying to prove to her that there really is no 'right' and 'wrong' way of doing it, just that everyone does it different ways. What do you think?

Most Atheist believe that God doesn't exists because there is no proof that God exists. Yet Atheists also believe the intelligence life might exists some where in the universe even though there is no proof, because probablity favors it, so what are the odds that God exists? The God doen't have to be from any religion just has to be a God like creature that created the universe. Please give your actual answer in number form and explain how you got it.

So *most* of us who are normal agree we think slavery is wrong. The Bible in Exodus 21:20-21 and Leviticus 25:44-45 for example, are verses where slavery is made permissible, by God. Jesus never said that he changes the slavery laws.

So, who or what organization, determined that it was ok to try and stop slavery, despite the authority for people to own slaves, as permitted in Exodus and Leviticus?

What standard did they use for morality?

Also, can we also find other things wrong, other things that are Biblically "right".

For example, monogomy is a right thing according to the Bible. Could I find monogomy to be *wrong* and have sex with women who aren't my wife?

Whats the difference between slavery and adultery?

Over the past several years there are times when I have heard my name called clearly and loudly, although for some reason I am aware that the voice it is coming from far away. It wakes me from a sleep and I usually answer, only to find out everyone else is still sleeping. Once, me and my husband were called at the very same time, both of us jumped out of the bed and were headed for the door when we realized my kids were still sleep.
Additional,,I mentioned this to my mom and she said that growing up her elders told her to never answer these calls.

Ever wonder about that? A perfectly normal man accidently gets bitten by a vampire the required number of times and dies. Then comes back to life .as a vampire (the undead, even though he's alive and living). People would declare him to be illegal as he can't prove who he is and where he's from. Can't use his old ID as it would declare him dead! (To make it more interesting, we know vampires don't exist). Those who work in blood banks are vampires in real life as they drain your blood from you. That's the closest thing to a real life vampire!

He already has been ruthless and killed his own children in the past for eating some freakin fruit. Do you think if he can and has free will, won't decide to destroy us all or torment us for all eternity? How do you know? You can't know the mind of God can you?

Some of you always say, he does but he just won't be evil. Like I said, he has already allowed for a Hell to exist, and no matter how kind or compassionate of a person I am I will burn in it because I don't believe in it or Jesus. So I deserve to have this happen to me? What about all the innocent children and people he killed just to make a point? Rape, torment, murder, how far can an all-powerful God go?

I work with this woman who wears the SAME outfit everyday of the week...I mean from Monday thru Friday...the exact same outfit (and I'm not talking uniform). She doesn't wash it each night either. What gets me is...there are like 150 other people working all around her that KNOW this and nobody says anything to this woman. What's up with that? And how can I 'hint' at her to ummm...wash and do some laundry and wear something different for a change?

Why do some, not all, Christians make non-Christians out to be the enemy. For example,

What's wrong with this person?

Ok, so, you ever read the thing religious people say in an answer to your question, the thing about "you've never seen wind so how do you know it exists" this guy just now said "i've never seen my liver so according to your logic it doesn't exist".

So heh, do an autopsy on a dead guy. Oops! Seeing is believing.

The thing with the wind, how do you argue with someone like this, where do they get that stuff? It's like saying the lighting and thunder is God, well I have never seen pressure changes and temperature changes, but something tells me the pressure changes and temperatures *might* be more so a cause of lighting and thunder along with electric charges, etc. then "god".

How do you argue with these people? Is it just inevitable that some see natural explanations and some fantasize the opposite?

As a believer I fully understand that the closer to get to the Lord the more oppostion that you will have see Ephesians 6:10-18 and 11 Timothy 3:12.
But there are people I know personally that pardon my expression are going through one hell of a time with sikcness, hurts, family problems, finances problems, and I have to say I admire these people so much because though the firey trials the are still praising still serving still beliving in God and still put there hope in God.
My question is this ,what are some nice special things I can do for these people to bless and encourage them? How can I make a difference in these godly peoples lives?
