the creation of the Dept of Homeland Security, maybe better security at airports and large public events, but we've got a lot more to do

the patriot act was passed allowing the government to ignore the fourth amendment .we went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. the president is allowing the nsa to spy on American citizens. And still nothing really changed

i think a general awareness happened, that there needs to be gov't changes...but i can't really say i've seen a whole lot of gov't changes actually come into action. there was the patriot act, but i forget now what taht was really all about...
