A day all to yourself & you could do anything you want.

I would read a book, sleep, practice guitar & plant some flowers.

Atheists and agnostics are sometimes vehemently abusive toward people of all faiths. It can be seen by some replies here at Yahoo Answers. OTOH, people of faith are usually cordial and gentle. What can change this? Do atheists & agnostics do this in public when face to face with strangers and other people of faith? What can both people of faith and atheists & agnostics do to be more respectable toward each other? Thank you for your answers.

one of the greatest minds and a man whom i admire most was india's first prime minister jawaharlal nehru. in his autobiography this is what he wrote
'if a human being wants to be perfect he or she needs to change their views with the times, and those who stubbornly refuse to do so will be left out, and those who are left out will always find someone or something to blame their problems on'

nehru wrote this over 60 years ago, and dont you think this goes for muslims who have decided that they are not going to change their religion to suit modern times?

According to Jain scriptures, Jainism is as old as anything in this world. It does not support the theory of evolution. Lord Mahaveer was 24th Tirthankara who preached jainism and before him, we had 23 Tirthankaras. The life time was of our first Tirthankara was of 3 Palyopam. One palyopam is equal to:
"The time required to empty a well which is 1 mile by 1 mile by 1 mile in dimensions and is filled with hair of a new born baby and each hair is removed once 100 years are completed"
Their height was equal to 500 Dhanush or Bows, which is nearly 500 times our present height. All this has been written in our holy book called "KalpaSutra", whose copies are present at most of the Museums in India.

Did you find the time well spent? Everywhere I turn these days I see something about it. I hear it takes a year or more to do the course, seems like a long time.

To be honest, I want to try that myself... too bad, I still want to achieve something in my very own life... anyway, I believe I'm gonna die someday. The only questions are how and why....

What do you think then? Will I ever get a chance to have my life flashes before my very own eyes?

and your pastor said that it was because God wanted another angel, how would you feel? Would that mean God cared more about himself than the people on earth who loved the child?
Why give someone something precious just to take it away again?

Do you have different accents as we do in the US? Do you describe people from the north as talking northern and so forth. Like here, people talk very different in each state. Is that how it is over there? Just wondering.

Evil spirits come in to help people deal with trauma. Wouldn't it be better to keep evil around instead of trying to cast the evil out?
