According to Jain scriptures, Jainism is as old as anything in this world. It does not support the theory of evolution. Lord Mahaveer was 24th Tirthankara who preached jainism and before him, we had 23 Tirthankaras. The life time was of our first Tirthankara was of 3 Palyopam. One palyopam is equal to:
"The time required to empty a well which is 1 mile by 1 mile by 1 mile in dimensions and is filled with hair of a new born baby and each hair is removed once 100 years are completed"
Their height was equal to 500 Dhanush or Bows, which is nearly 500 times our present height. All this has been written in our holy book called "KalpaSutra", whose copies are present at most of the Museums in India.

By that standard any religion could make the claim of being the oldest, since virtually all claim to be older than creation itself. That is, each claims that it's god created the universe, and therefore its "truth" predates creation.
