To be in love is a wonderful feeling, be it true or fantasy in your own mind. Being in lust is a close emotional feeling that most people get. I am married, I am 43 and my husband 50. I am in love still to this day with my husband. I would stand by him, as long as I live. I would not do just anything for him in the name of love, if I thought it would be ungodly or hurtful to anyone includding myself, I would maintain my standard and not participate. But as a loving christian husband I have never been asked to do anything that would comprimise our relationship. He loves me too. Any actions that you may do in the name of love, then you already answered your own question. You did it in the name of love, or lust

Love is not blind! If love were blind then how would it see beauty that it worships? Perhaps, love is known to be blind to those who are not in love, and therefore do not see what a loving heart can see.
Love in fact opens the eyes of human heart. It lays bare in front of the beloved the soul of the one who loves. Perhaps, it is due to this aspect that the eyes of reason consider love to be blind.
To be in love simply is to be alive. The perpetuation of our lives among the trepidations of existence is only possible because we are eternally in love, and constantly seek the object of our essential love. We have thinking mind that thinks things in reason, but we have a beating heart that has a reason of its own, and this reason is love. And adorations of human hear reason does not understand. We are expressions of divine love.
Would I do anything for love? I believe we do everything for love. Ask yourself, and you will know that you suffered only when you tried to do something against your love, and failed. And then in that failure was the realisation of your love, as it is a blessing when you succeed. We live to love always, and then we love to live forever.

True love, the truest love that ever existed, the love of God, is not blind, but rather sees beauty where no-one else sees it.
Place me like a seal over your heart
Like a seal over your arm
For love is as strong as death
It's jealousy as unyielding as the grave
It burns like a blazing fire
Like a mighty flame
Many waters cannot quench love
Rivers cannot wash it away
If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love
It would be utterly scorned
(From Song of Solomon, The Bible.)
And so it is with the love of God. If I should be scorned to give all away for that love, so be it. Not blind love, but my eyes opened in wonder. Love does funny things to one's heart!

To be in Love it's more like a give a birth: if you not sure it's not that. And i am agree: love is blind. You have no idea when it's strikes

" Love is a friendship that has caught fire.
It is quiet understanding,
mutual confidence,
sharing and forgiving.
It is loyalty through good and bad.
It settles for less than perfection,
and makes allowances for human weakness.
Love is content with the present.
It hopes for the future and it doesn’t brood over the past.
It’s the day-in and day-out chronicle of irritations, problems,
compromises,
small disappointments, big victories, and working toward common
goals.
If you have love in your life,
it can make up for a great many things you lack.
If you don’t have it,
no matter what else there is,
it is not enough,
so search for it, ask God for it,
and share it!"
A contemporary poem about love, this is my favourite for summing
up just what is so special when we love and are loved:-

"forty thousand brothers, Could not, with all their quantity of love, Make up [his] sum."
Hamlet to Laertes...
Did Hamlet really love Ophelia?
Maybe love is blind! But I heard that marriage is a real eye opener!!!

For lots of people love is blind, and yes they will do the dumbest things for it. There are some of us that are not so fool hearty, so we are not prone to doing stupid things in the name of love.

To be really in love is to love someone no matter what they do. No, I wouldn't do "anything" for love. Love should be freely given with no strings attached. Love is being able to let someone go if you know it is better for them than to hang on to them and make you both miserable.

PS real love takes 5 to 10 years to develop what we all think is love when we're younger is infatuation .
unfortunately infatuation rarely develops into lasting love .
