We call atheist day, atheist day, we call Chanukah what it is, so why not call the Christmas season, Christmas? Social appeasement, when your beliefs are not being shoved in peoples faces are to embraced in this country according to our Constitutional rights.

I find using social terms that 'offend' absurd. Good example, those trying to change the term 'Fourth of July" Celebration to the politically correct term, "Independence Day".

What is wrong with this world? It is definitely ill in need of some kind of medicine quick....it is sicker by the day.

you can not take a prophecy in the bible and use another bit of bible to say it came true. e.g. this passage i was reading about true bible prophesy

Examine the prophecies in Psalm 22 and read verses 12-18. This is a detailed description of the crucifixion--1000 years before Jesus was born. These verse are about the crucifixion of Jesus and was written 1000 years before Jesus was born. And on top of that, crucifixion hadn't even been invented yet. How do you think something like this could happen?" After a brief discussion, you could show him (or her) a few other prophecies like where Jesus' birthplace was prophesied (Micah 5:2), that He would be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14), that His side would be pierced (Zech. 12:10),

this is totaly circular!!! and meaningless. do you understand?

C'mon - what's the big deal? If a word is spelled wrong, do you miss the point of the question? Or do you just feel the need to whine & complain about nothing?

I like French, France and most French. But the French themselves seem to believe that their language for English speakers is [1] preciser, and [2] harder. OK! I'll concede [1], but only just. As regards difficulty, I think the French are just plain wrong. French is not a highly inflected language and the word order is, by and large, simple for most English speakers who want to learn that language. Also, many Modern English words have a Romance provenance. So, to what extent am I out on my own with this one? Are the French right in saying their language is hard? Answers from those English-speaking folk have more than one foreign language are especially welcome.
