That is what religion does....puts heavy burdens on people. Believing in Christ is a spiritual encounter that sets you free from rules...Christ said that you don't put new wine (his doctrine) into old wine skins (religious doctrine). Otherwise, the wine skins would burst and the wine would be poured out onto the ground.

Paul talks about Gentiles not following the Jewish laws because 1.)If you follow one part of the law then you need to follow all of it. And 2.) All the law can do is show us where we are wrong. It cannot save us. That is why Jesus died for us, so that we could be redemmed from our sin. The Law had become the Religion, rather than maitaining it's true perpose, pointing out our need for God.

Technically, yes. I am an atheist, but I grew up in church and am familiar with the bible. The messianic faith is the closest to what the first christians were like and I'm sure what would please the Judeo-Christian "god" the most (If he exists and the bible is true at all). If I were ever convinced by "god" himself that I should believe the bible and worship him, I would go about it through that religion. I've been to a few of their services, and they seem genuine and accepting of gentiles.

You misunderstand the Messianic movement.
The purpose is to let Jewish people know they do not have to give up their Jewish identity (not keeping the law) when they accept Jesus as their Messiah in fact they become more Jewish.

Gentile Christians SHOULD understand our Jewish past.

I don't think I understand the question. There definitely were a lot of things underfoot when The Way was being established, and it's entirely possible that there was a hidden agenda as to bringing the Messianic message into it. It wasn't the first time. For hundreds of years, there were claims of Messiahs.

St. Thomas Aquinas would approve of conversions in both directions. Even today, the church in Ethiopia claims to be the only true Christian religion and the only true Jewish religion at one and the same time. I'd like to join, except you have to be baptized once a year with a fire hose. Don't believe me? Look it up!

There was a great turmoil in the early church when people tried to make Gentiles into Jews (Acts 15). Jews and Gentiles alike need to become Christians and Christians only.

Ephesians 2:14 ¶For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

We do not live under the law, they say they do but they can't, If they could have done it and done it right, then Christ would not had to come here and die. They the (Jews) have no high priest, making atonement for them in the temple, they all died in 70a.d.when the temple was destroyed. Christ is the high priest, and if they do not believe in him , how in the world can he save them??? I PRAY many of them will come to Christ, before it is to late. If it were not for their stubbornness, we would not be Christians today,,.so we must be grateful to them for being hardheaded ** but now is the time for them to WAKE up.....AND BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!
