Dragon. Probably a very old large one. So dark blue as to almost be black, with wings so huge that they would need to be tucked tightly to fly through the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.

properly, you have a splash bit a concern there. by making use of definition a mythical beast is mythical. And mythical issues have descended from fantasy. And myths are not present day of their classic experience. So i assume you're conversing of city myths and legends? Godzilla, Bigfoot, Mutants, The creature from the black lagoon, extraterrestrial beings, Zombies, Bloody Mary, Robots (like, actual strolling conversing killer ones), Evil Clowns, Batman, and so on. one undertaking is although, you could declare "old" mythical beasts are present day besides. think of of it this way. A mythical beast doesnt exist. So unicorns have been mythical 3 thousand years in the past besides as now. And, being consistently revived (eg Harry Potter), you should probable nevertheless declare the Unicorn as a trendy mythical beast. or basically make one up. whilst your instructor says they have by no skill heard of it, basically say - "of direction you havent heard of it - it doesnt exist!"

I would also want to be a werewolf, although the change would be very painful. I love werewolves, I always have. But just a little known fact, wolves are more closely related to vampires than wereolves. I never did quite get why, all I know is that they just are.

In greek mythology, I would probably be a Minotaur, just because I already have the stature for it.
But in terms of fantastic creatures, I wouldn't mind being something immortal, like an elemental for example.
I deffinatly wouldn't want to be a vampire, for I wouldn't be taken seriously in today's world, what with all the goths trying to emulate the vampire imagery.
I also wouldn't mind being something with magical properties, such as a Warlock (male Witch) but I have too much "bad karma" cursed upon me that I doubt I would do any good at all!
There are tons of other fantastic creatures one could wish they could be, but so little to actually dive into it right now.
Cheers!

I agree with the werewolf thing, but I would like to have some level of control over my actions and be able to change at will (see Angua in Terry Pratchett novels). Although, I would have to wear 4 bras once a week per month and suffer from PLT (pre lunar tension).

I would be a mermaid because I love the sea and somtimes it seems like i've been hurt by past loves so much that my heart has just grown cold. Just so others know , mermaids are supposed to have very cold hearts and often heartbroken. However things seem to be looking up so maybe i wouldn't be a mermaid, but it looks like fun swimming in the sea!

Being a phoenix has been, shall we say, a life altering experience.
But the transition is so painful. I think I would rather be a Nephilim, perhaps the son of Samlazaz himself. What a wondrous time it must have been. To be a giant among mortal man in earliest of times. Half angel, half man..........
Aho,
Fenix

A vampire wold be nice, but in all reality, I would become a ghost. Protecting those whom I love, and like. Giving strength, and encouragement to the weak. Crushing the dishonest, and deceitful, like a twig in a gale force wind.

I would be quite tempted to be a merman! I love swimming and the sea and think it would be fantastic to be able to live amoungst the sea creatures and see them in their natural habitat and not just on TV! And think of all the nice mermaids i could meet! Of course if you are a fan of futurama you would understand the downside of that! Ha Ha!

I'd definately be a vampire, if it counts as a mythical beast. Although my reasons aren't too clever............Hmmmm guess I just have a tendency to say vampire. Oh well.
