But in doing so, the other two would be prevalent at monumental levels, what would you pick?

I would pick pain.

If there were no death, the world would be so over populated that disease and famine would rule. A bad existence, if you ask me.

Hate is a natural emotion and can be taken on different levels and hate is also tolerable so long as you know how to manage it.

But pain, pain is something that the we can all do without, physical and emotional.

Death is necesarry to keep the human population fresh and to avoid overpopulation....

So it's down to hate vs pain for me.

The way I see it, hate affects much less people. Hate crimes still exist all through the world but lets face it... most people are never the victim of a serious hate crime in their lifetime. And I'm extending 'hate crime' as a phrase to include more than burning down churches or KKK activity.. I am extending it to even murdering someone because you hate them.

However pain is very real and a daily 'hate' for millions and millions of people worldwide. Hate can be dealt with or brushed off if you have a strong personality but back pain debilitates you no matter who you are.

Seeing my friends and family aching in agony, and my own personal experience I will have to go with pain on this one!

Lets see......if I choose Hate then I'll be in constant pain and everyone around me will die. No fun in that.

If I choose Pain then I may not feel physical pain, but I would suffer great mental pain through hate and everyone around me would die. No fun there either.

If I choose Death then I'll be surrounded by a bunch of pained hateful people who never die and that would reeeaally be no fun.

I guess I'll just go with D: None of the above considering you added to the question that by removing one of these issues the others would be greatly enhanced. Perhaps we need all three to balance the others out and if we remove one would we then be removing one from the other triangle - love, pleasure, and birth.

i probably would not abolish any of those

first we need death, it is natural, a part of life, a new begining (the other side and all that jazz)

Pain also part of life, without pain we can not judge pleasure

Hate - of course hate this a powerful feeling, but so is love, without hate how can we appreciate love. The wonderment of this life is that we can choose. We can choose to hate or love. We all have the power to diminish hate and increase love

I think we need all in this world to have a balanced life. in a society with no evil soon becomes a socitey with no life. as in all religions and cultures evil and good coexist without one the other is powerless.

No back pain lets you know you are alive, death is a very natural thing to keep us evolving. Hate gives us an oppurtunity to be better. You have the choice to hate or not to and I've always felt that was divine.

If hate ceases to exist then Yahoo! Answers would go down. Most of the questions are hateful. It is already awfully painful to read some of those questions and answers.

So I guess it would be death since without Yahoo! Answers my life would then be worthless and I may as well die.

Hate. Hands down. If you take away death we would not have the resources to support all the people. Having pain helps us realize how good life can be and take better care of ourselves.

It would be foolish to eliminate death...we'd soon be so overcrowded that we'd be begging to die...death is necessary, if birth is still occuring...

I assume by pain you mean physical pain...that's tough, because it's quite unpleasant and enough of it can literally drive one insane...

Hate is tolerable, if it's not violent...

Hmmmm...can't afford to eliminate death, so I guess eliminating pain would be the way to go (of those 3)...death would still occur, but we need it to...and hate would occur but between hate and pain, I'd think hate would be the lesser 'evil' to deal with...
