I wish I knew what their problem is, but to an observer it's plainly obvious that christians who deny evolution are sinning – PRIDE.

In the bible it says that humans were created in Gods image. So if this is true, we didn't evolve from another form i.e. monkeys. So this is one of the main reason i think Christians don't believe in evolution, as if evolution existed it would go against everything they believe.
I myself am not a Christian, however i do respect the opinions of others, so if Christians don't believe in evolution it doesn't mean they have a 'problem' with evolution. It is just something that they don't believe in.

I am a Christian, and have no problem with evolution. I do not believe it, because the more I look into it, the more unanswerable holes there seem to be in the theory. Before this, I did used to believe it, with no problems, as a theory which explains how life developed does not explain how it (or, indeed, anything) started.
However, what I do have problems with are the uses to which it has been put-i.e. 'Science has disproved god exists'-logically impossible; and the arrogance of some atheist debaters insulting theists, and refusing to listen.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Since we discovered evolution it's taken the magic away for them. Now life can be explained by a simple natural process it makes the things in the bible look a little silly.

But why have boring explanations for things when you can have magic.

So they just keep on believing in the same old stuff because it makes them feel better.

Its all about 'faith' (read blatant stupidity)

Thank God I'm not religious :0)

What problem?? Evolution proves that God is still in the process of creating,Want futher proof? the universe is still expanding. Anyone with an open mind should be able to see the Giganic truth. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Ummm.... The fact that it's not true.
Both creation and evolution are beliefs. I believe creation is true, and evolution is false. Others believe evolution is true and creation is false. I believe that God created within his creation the ability to adapt to various situations and economical impacts; to evolve, if you will. However, all the adaptations in the world will not change a monkey into anything else, a bacteria into anything else, a human into anything else, etc.

The bottom line is this: If you believe creation is true, that implies a being who has authority over you. If you believe in evolution, then you remove that authority, and you can do whatever you want to.

Apeman,
I think that most of us have our faith involved with God. And the faith required to believe in Evolution is perhaps lacking for want of proof. Not that we are trying very hard.

You see we are happy with the God we know? He has proven Himself to us time and again, while showing us that He is quite capable of revealing Himself to us, while keeping the unsaved in the dark. They don't even think He's there.

So Evolution to me is mental masterbation. Cool if it is true, cool if it isn't true. It's interesting the remains that they have found either way. Whatever.

I'm certainly not a practicing Christian but..the evolutionary theory doesn't hold up as we haven't been on this planet long enough to have evolved to being even close to where we are today. Is evolution a reality? Sure , but something else happened . What was it?..Well that is the dilemma isn't it...

Why are Christians all being tarred with the same brush?! 'They are' or 'They think', like individual Christians do not have brains, thoughts and feelings of their own.
Stop spouting nonsense. The only reason you ask 'leading' questions is because you want to cause some kind of argument... You are a very sad person...

Their problem is, evolution makes them "just another animal", instead of the favored of all the biblegod's creations and the reason the whole universe was created. It's upsetting to their collective ego.

The problem is Evolution is just a "theory" that has not stood basic scientific scrutiny without needing more "unsubstantiated theories" to prop it up. Nothing in evolution has been proven. No missing link. No extensive fossil records.
